When are schools out for President's Week 2022?

Maine and Mass for starters.. I’m sure others will chime in because I know there are more. I’m in Maine and we’ve always had February vacation the week of President week and April vacation the week of Patriots’ Day — the 3rd Monday in April.

Wow, that’s awesome. I would love my kids to be out sometime other than Spring break when everyone is off!

NYC - I think the whole state but I’m not 100% on that.

There are districts that get the whole week of President day off?! What states are they in?

It’s actually not great (NJ is off as well). Flights are crazy expensive and since the NE is so populated, it does increase crowds. Since it’s so cold, if you don’t go south or skiing, there’s not much to do.

We go every February and try to avoid President's week because it can get crowded. President's Day is so late next year, February 21, I wasn't sure if that means schools that are off President's Week will be the week of February 14th or 21st? Asking so early because we want to book DVC points 11 months out.

When we lived in California and my daughter attended private school, she was always off for the Presidents Week, starting on Presidents day. We now live in Southeast and daughter attends public school always has Presidents Day (Monday) off and the school always attaches the Friday before making it a Teachers Workshop Day to make it a 4 day weekend.

Our local school district is closed February 21 - 25, 2022. It’s considered mid-winter break.

I actually just looked at my son’s calendar and he’ll be off the 11th and 14th. Weird.

Worked in school district for 39 years in OH. Only Monday off.
