When are park hours released?

Just wondering when actual park hours are typically released? Before the 60 day FP day? I noticed MK opened at 8am on MVMCP nights in Nov 2017 that correspond to when we are going this year. An 8am opening vs 9am will likely change how I plan our FP and touring plan.

Hours can be finalized as late as the day before.

Believe it's on a rolling 180 day release. Hours will definitely be out long before your 60 day mark.

However hours are usually updated about a month out. So you'll have to check as the dates get closer.

Usually it's to extend hours. This is why making a PPO ADR for 8 during a 9am opening might bite you because they might change park opening to 8. Usually emh are already locked in but they can still move around. And they can change anything, but normally they won't take away hours. Little more rare if they change an 8am opening to 9am

Disney releases initial hours on a rolling 180 day basis.

They’ll then update things along the way, with sometimes a bigger update around a month (ish) out. For some recent examples, Disney did a bigger update for June on 5/11 and July on 6/15.

Although there are really no patterns with hours updates - Disney will do as it wants to do at any given time.
