The big day is at the Magic Kingdom on June 6th, a Saturday. The days before have activities at other parks. I have heard it is REALLY crowded at the MK that day and to avoid it. There are also some later-hours events at Pleasure Island and the Downtown Disney hotels. We have gotten so used to going at crowded times that I doubt we would notice anything unusual. I long for a time when I can travel in early November or January, when no one, straight or gay, is at the parks!
Gay Days has a website, Gaydays.com." Looks like AKL Thursday, MGM Friday, Sat MK and Sunday Epcot. It sounds like lots of fun for gay and lesbian families, but again, I long for EMPTY parks! Search for the site which tells you "which park which day" and all the hotels and extracurricular stuff. I have heard that only the MK Saturday is complete chaos due to crowds. If we get to be in Orlando that weekend (may have to postpone travel til July) we'll skip the MK that Saturday and not worry the rest of the week.
Actually, even the designated Gay Day parks won't have a big increase in attendance. The exception being MK on Saturday June 5. Otherwise everything seems seasonally normal.
