When are dues due?

I bought at BLT last December (June UY) and was told the 2009/2010 pro-rated dues would be payable when the resort opened in September. Well, the resort opened early and yet there is nothing showing on my account on the member website about my fees being due. I looked under my membership--annual dues and there is no link to click under my contract.

Should I be worried? Am I just not seeing where online the bill is? I would hate to garner a late charge on my first dues just because I am unfamiliar with the website layout!

Did you sign up for automatic withdrawal of dues on a monthly basis from your checking account? If so they will just start taking them, starting likely in Septemeber. If not, you should receive a bill for your share of the 2009 dues within the next month.

I think dues are do in January, regardless of when your year starts.

I don't recall arranging for monthly withdrawals. I know we intended to pay the dues in full in one payment. So I guess I will continue to check my membership account online and wait for DVD to notify me.

Contact Member Accounting to verify you dues election. Our BLT dues are already on the website.

We don't pay them monthly either. Is it possible that you paid this year's dues at settlement? Maybe you won't have to pay until the next billing cycle which is in January--right after Christmas so be sure to save some money because it's usually due soon after the bill is received.

When we joined DVC in May 2009 and bought into BLT, our Guide told us that we would be billed in September for our prorated MF for 2009. We would then be billed in January 2010 for our 2010 MF.

We are paying monthly and our dues aren't showing on our account yet. Hubby called, and was told the monthly amount will be debited starting Sept 15.


For the person whose dues are already showing up...lucky! Ours still aren't on the site.

I bought my BLT in June and noticed a week ago that under my dues there was an amount I owed for BLT dues for 2009. I didn't know when I needed to pay them, so just paid them with my cc so now I don't have to worry about them.

Nothing shows up yet on my account online either. If it gets to be mid September and you do not have a bill, then you might want to call.

I called member accounting today. She told me that they will not show up on the website until after they bill you. She indicated that she thought the bills would be going out this week or next. I was able to go ahead and pay ours on the phone today.
