When AK opens at 8?

Hello we will be at Disney's AK on March 21st. Yesterday I noticed Disney changed park opening time from 9am to 8am. This is normal park opening no extra magic hours. I was wondering if anyone had experience with rope drop when the park opens earlier then 9 without it being EMH. Trying to figure out if they will still let crowds into Pandora 15 to 30 mins early still. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
