When 30 day check in falls on daylight savings?

So our 30 day check in is next Saturday November 5th which is when daylight savings begins at midnight. So will I have to wait an extra hour to check in? Does anyone know?

Typically time changes are done at 2:00 am. So as not to mess with "what day is it" problems.

Oh phew!! I suddenly realized the timing and was dreading being up another hour!

That being said, whether DCL systems does the change at 2:00 am - who knows.

Check the countdown time in your app. I am in Texas and other Texas people were able to check in at 11:00pm CST (12:00am EST) and my app was telling me I still had an hour to check in. It was very weird but it let me check in at 12:00am CST. It had never happened to me before. I had always been able to check in at 11:00pm CST. My only thought is that I was traveling on the west coast that week and traveled home the day of check in and perhaps that mess up my check in.

As already mentioned, time changes are at 2:00 am. The check in will be at 12:01 EST, which is before 2:00 am. I also confirmed this with concierge services several days ago. I'm curious, are you on the Wish out of Port Canaveral or the Dream out of Miami? We are on the Dream and check in on November 5th as well.

We are on the Wish out of Port Canaveral. But now I’ve confused myself and I don’t know if check in is technically Friday evening into Saturday at 12am, or Saturday evening into Sunday

Friday into Saturday. Once the clock strikes midnight it will be the 5th. If you wait for Saturday into Sunday when the clock strikes 12 it will now be the 6th.

Got it. For some reason I think I had my 30 days date wrong. I has entered a reminder to “set alarm for midnight” on Saturday we are doing WDW a few days before so my brain has been mush with setting reminders and alarms for 12am wakes ups, 6am wake ups etc
