My DD uses a scooter to get around most of the time, but we have to have a manual chair with us for some of the shore excursions. We don't have a handicapped accessible room, just an outside porthole. From the pictures I see, it looks like a manual chair could easily collapse and fit under the bed. Is that realistic, or will DCL allow us to store the chair somewhere else until the port days?

Under the bed should work since it is collapsible. We keep our luggage under there and there is more space as well. You may also want the chair for the times you need to get from the ECV/wheelchair parking area to the room and vice versa since a scooter most likely not fit in a standard room.

Our son's transport chair (small wheels, not the big wheel in the back) easily fit under the bed on the Fantasy.

I'm trying to remember if his chair fit through the doorway, or if we had him walk in and then brought it in folded up. You might want to check this for your DD's scooter.

To make sure, I would measure. My sons collapsible wheelchair did not fit under the bed. (But his collapses down not sides in.) We had a non handicapped accessible room on the Fantasy. According to this picture I found referencing the Dream: looks to be about 13 inches clearance under the bed. I have heard that the Wonder is different.

My son's wheelchair is narrower than most so his fit through the door and we could bring it into the room and scrunch around it.

Not sure if you would like the door frame clearance specs but here is a link that would be helpful for that:

Our transport chair would not fit in a regular Wonder Oceanview room doorway. Mom had to walk the 10 feet into the room.

If the chair is thinner than your luggage, it will fit under the bed. Too lazy do drag out from bed.... we just left the chair against a wall when in the room.
