anybody know if there is plenty of shade at TL. my son can't get out of the wheelchair but he wants to go so his younger brother can go. unfortunately he couldn't sit in the sun so thought I would find out before we all trooped over if there is any shadey areas without being stuck where he can't see a thing. we are staying at SSR (for the first time) so I am also wondering if we would be better of staying at the resort pool rather than going to the water park

thanks,
Ali

It has been a while since I was at TL but when I went to BB last October there were quite a few covered pavilions with picnic tables. There was plenty of room for me to stay there in my ECV.
Plus there were lots of other shady areas but they were further away from the pools and slides
Sorry I can't answer about TL.

Does anyone else know?

I 2nd what was said about plenty of shade at BB, but it's also been years since I was at TL.

TL does have some shady spots in the "beach" area. But they are limited. I also think that while the sun changes position the shade also changes. There are plenty of covered pavillions but he would not have a good view of anything. ALso a few of the eating areas that are covered have steps. I personaly do not think that either water park is very WC friendly. If you wanted to go for a few AM hours so your younger son could get to go.I could see doing that. Which resort is SSR?

I just spoke with Bernard who is a recreational manager at TL, and he said they have way more shade now than Blizzard Beach does, so hopefully you should be OK. :goodvibes
