We're headed to WDW next week and we're scheduled to see the Candlelight Processional in EPCOT one night with the dinner package. Does anyone know where the wheelchair seating is in the American Pavilion?

We'll have 2 wheelchair users with our 7 person party. I'm one of them, and I'd like to sit with my husband and 4-year-old for this special event.

Thanks for any info you have on this venue. :yay:

Normally the line-up for people with CP packages is to the left (Japan) side of the Theater as you are facing the theater. Someone will ask you if you are able to transfer; if you can you will be seated with other package people and someone in your party will move the chair or ECV to a side aisle. If you cannot transfer you will be in a special seating area; I don't know the group size limits that they use in the special seating area.

There are w/c seating areas behind the first rows in the front and also in the back. There are spaces for the chair and then for your family to sit next to you. It's first come-first served but if you have the dinner package and thus priority seating you shouldn't have a problem finding a space. A CM will help direct you also. ---Kathy

Kathy are you singing this year? At which shows? Let us know so we can see you.

Yes! Skye and I sang at our first show last night. She did fine again except there was a fly buzzing around our head in the beginning so she sat up and put her head on my lap at one point for me to "help". The new arrangement of "Do you Hear what I Hear" is beautiful- finally got to hear it with the orchestra and VOL. I'll be singing for sure on my days off- Thursdays and Fridays. I am planning to sing this Thurs for the late pair and Fri for the early show. I hope to see you this year and thus hope it's not freezing. :-) ---Kathy

Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2 We're looking forward to it.

We'll be there this Friday, so I'll be on the lookout for you Kathy!

Bonny, Andrew, MJ, Jim and myself will be there Friday Dec 29 at the 6:45 show. We might come on another day as well. I really hope that I can go on the last night as well. We are staying with Bonny and Andrew this trip. Hope to see you and that it isn't too cold. Last year was really too much.

Wow. Really makes me wish we could take another trip to Orlando.

For anyone who would like to see us, you can't miss us! I am usually sitting on stage left, which is the right side of the stage near the sign language interpreter and Skye is a black labrador who will be napping at my side, unless a fly gets her. :-) I sing with the kid's choir in the gold robes since I'm not able to stand in the "tree". I hope everyone loves the show as much as we all love singing in it. Sue- I wish you were coming down too!---Kathy ( and Skye)

We just got back from WDW on Sunday. We saw the Candelight Proc. on Sat. 11/19. We were a party of 6 with DD in a w/c. We sat behind the first few rows, yes we did have a dinner package, and were able to sit together. What a fabulous show. The sign language interpreter was fabulous!!!!

The sign language interpreters are always fabulous. Their are several that do it. Angela, Tara, Brian and Tony. Possibly Suzanna. The only didn'ly one that I really didn't like much was Suzanna. Didn't have the enthusiasm that the others did. I now know the reason as I met her in October and will give her another chance if I see her again.
