For our trip in December, my sister wants to rent a wheelchair for the week. My niece will be nearly 10 years old at that time. She can walk fine, but when she tires out she's too big to carry for long and is too big for a stroller.

We're thinking of getting one for the week from one of those services that deliver and pickup at our hotel.

Has anyone used any of these companies? I know I can pay for a week long rental at the parks, but I'd rather save the time of picking up and dropping off each day at the parks.

Check out the Disabilities forum it'll answer your question

I wouldn't mention why you want the wheelchair over on the Disabilities board, it's likely to start a flame war.

Funny, I thought this same thing! I myself HAD to be in a wheelchair for one of our trips and it was not easy. Pushing through crowds, on and off buses. etc. I don't wish that on anyone. I'm not here to judge, but if you don't need it for a true disability, I would reconsider. You just might be wishing you made that 10 year old walk like the rest of them, tired or not.

Apple Scooter!!! We have used them for Mum for the last few years they are very reasonable, insurance is included and they are WDW approved so they deliver and pick up to you resort if you are staying on property!! And go check out the disabilities board too for other recommendations I will just make it a 4th! :thumbsup2
