Wheelchair Rental - Outside Vendor

This has probably been answered before, but I didn't see an answer in a quick search. We are looking to rent a manual wheelchair for an upcoming WDW trip. Ideally would like to have delivered to our resort, AKL, before we arrive and drop off to bell services on departure. Years ago we rented from Buena Vista. But I see Scooterbug is WDW's preferred vendor. Is scooterbug the only vendor that can drop-off and pickup without the guest being present? Thanks!

Yes, ScooterBug is the only vendor allowed to utilize Bell Services at WDW resorts. Other vendors will arrange to meet you in person at the resort -- some have a set schedule while others are more flexible.

I've rented a wheelchair from Scooterbug several times. Never had an issue. One caveat though. Be sure to reserve your chair early - as in a couple months prior to your trip. They have a tendency to sell out quickly. For my December trip this year (I'm there now) I checked the web site at the end of October and requested a quote. What i didn't do was actually reserve (i.e. pay for it). Realized this a couple days later, but by then they were sold out. Had to go to plan B.
