Does anyone know of a place close to Vero that we could possibly rent a wheelchair from? My DMIL will be with us and she is 82 yrs old and has some mobility issues.

The big medical supply place in town is called Perkins. I believe they have a location in Sebastian (which would be closer to the resort than Vero itself.)

I'll see if I can find the number. I would give them a call and see if they could drop one off at the resort for the duration of your stay. I see their trucks all over town so I'm sure they would.

You may also want to call the resort and see if they have one.

Thank you so much. :goodvibes

Our daughter has cp and we visited Vero Beach some years ago before she had a powerchair. I think we borrowed a chair from the resort for her although neither my husband or I remember with certainty. You could call MS and ask.

But Vero Beach is rather compact...very compact compared to WDW. Depending on her needs, you might want to hold off renting until you get there.

Thank you. We have been to Vero several times. My DMIL has a very hard time getting around especially recently. We are not even sure yet if she will be able to to. She just had a pace maker put in a few weeks ago. Before that she couldn't walk 15 feet without getting winded.

We are hoping for the best though and want to make this trip as enjoyable for her as we can if she is able to go.
