Mom has diabetes and foot problems. She is going to need a wheelchair or ECV. Because I think that she would like to walk part of the time I am leaning towards the wheelchair. I wonder if during a crowded MVMCP an EVC or wheelchair would be easier to get around in.

Only you can decide for sure what's right for y'all. But if you have family that can push the wheelchair, I'd recommend it, especially if your mom doesn't have experience w/ the ECV. They don't have brakes, you stop them by not pushing the throttle, so are difficult to maneuver in very crowded conditions. Plus, you have to pay super close attention to what everyone around you is, or might be, doing.

Amen to that. I could not believe how people would jump right in front of me while I was driving the ECV - especially at the Halloween Party, and the Christmas Party is even more crowded. My husband has only one arm, so if he were to push my wheelchair, I would be going in circles. :lmao:

I have arthritis and calcification tendonitis on both shoulders, making it too painful to operate a wheelchair.

Therefore, although it can be tricky maneuvering an ECV in crowds, an ECV would be my choice. However, I agree that if someone is willing to push the wheelchair, it is a much better choice in crowds.

Wish I were going with you. Have a wonderful time. :cheer2:
