Wheelchair on parks shuttle at WBC?

We will have a child in a wheelchair and are planning on using the buses to get to the theme parks.

Has anyone done this before? How was your experience?

We want to get to the parks at rope drop. Do we need to call the evening before to reserve a spot on the bus?

Disney Transport buses between resorts and theme parks routinely take wheelchairs. No reservation is needed.

Buses have built in folding ramps or (for some older buses) wheelchair lifts.

I don't know about Windsor Hills shuttle and wheelchairs, but I really do not recommend relying on shuttles to get you to the parks if you want to make rope drop. The Shuttle cost is $10/day per person to Disney. $15/day per person to Universal & Sea World. You can rent a car for much less than that. I have a rental reserved -- full size car with a big trunk -- for $14/day. Parking is $14 as well. If you have 3 people taking the shuttle, you're paying the same as me for my rental and parking, and I have the convenience of coming and going on my own schedule. Windsor Hills does not run the shuttle service but contracts the service out. You must make a reservation the night before you want to use it. The schedule is in the clubhouse. I really suggest renting a car if you can at all do that.

sisneydeb2003, I assume you're talking about buses between Wyndham Bonnet Creet and the disney parks. I still have a copy of the bus schedule from February, and it says that riders with disabilities and wheelchairs should call for reservations at least two hours prior to boarding, and that there is a maximum capacity of two wheelchairs or scooters per pick up per bus.
