Hi
We will be staying at WDW in January. It will be Martin Luther King Day whilst we are there which is a public holiday. Does anyone know if the parks will be extra busy and what is the chance of a wheelchair being available for rent at the parks if we were to go late afternoon/evening.
I know ECV's often run out but didn't know if the same happens with wheelchairs.
Thanks

Yes, the parks will be busy. Not sure about availability of wheel chairs. I would rent one off site to ensure you have one.

MLK a 1-day, non-major holiday. not a lot of people traveling, not a lot of people off of work, just finished with xmas, and ecvs give out before wheelchairs do. will one be available at park? probably. but take lima's advice, especially if critical for you.

I agree with the others - ECVs run out much faster than wheelchairs, but if having one is vital, renting from off site will guarantee one.

There is information about renting in post 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread. You cXn find that thread neAr the top of this board or follow the link in my signature.
