Wheelchair Availability???

I thought I read somewhere that as a DVC member you can pick up a wheelchair at the resort. Is that true? Do you call and reserve? Cost?

One of the members of our party just hurt a knee and may need one.

We have asked for a wheelchair everytime we go. They are provided at OKW and BWV for sure. Just ask when you make your reservations. They don't always have them but most of the time. You can take it to the parks also. It is great not having to rent one. They are free with a deposit.

Yes, we did this at BCV two weeks ago. They keep a few at the front desk. The CM gave it to us for the entire stay - did not have to check it in and out daily. There was a $250 deposit, and they tore up the sheet when I returned it. It was great not having to rent one at Epcot, etc.
