I am (fingers crossed it goes ahead, coming from the UK) going to stay at Coronado Springs in July this year. I was wondering whether anyone who uses an electric wheelchair (and has to remain seated in it when travelling) has any information regarding how easy it is to get a fully wheelchair accessible taxi/Uber/Lyft in the area? I fully intend to use WDW transportation as much as possible, but there will be times during our holiday when I may need a taxi instead. Any information or tips greatly appreciated. Thanks

My friends in a wheelchair used the taxi service in Disney ( I believe they are called mars) with no problem

I also use an electric wheelchair and have used an accessible taxi from Mears on several occasions. Once the resort front desk called for one for me and it was only short wait for it. The other two times I had scheduled it online and they showed up at the times requested. This was in 2019 and 2020 pre-covid.

When we have need an accessible taxi, we just called the front desk and they helped us out.

It was better when they had the Minnie vans as they had ones that could take two ECVs, wish they would come back.
