Myself, DH and 2 DS's are traveling with my mother, father, sister and friend. My mother is confined to a wheelchair because of a stroke. How do we handle boarding for people with disabilities and can we board as a group since we are linked and traveling together.

Persons in wheel chairs are boarded first in line at the terminal along with their family. Just check with a cm when you arrive and they will be happy to assist you.

They had me pull aside to the front of the line with my mom in the chair. Then the rest of our group stood in line, when they arrived we all joined and boarded. They asked, since our group was 7, to not just jump the line. There is someone there who can assist at all embarks and disembark if you need help. Some of the planks are steep and have lips. Keep an eye out, I have a trip report focusing on wheelchair issues partly finished and will post soon on the trip report board.

Are there places to sit down in the embarkment area? My Dad is on oxygen and I would prefer not to have him standing for two hours while we wait to board.

There is a little cafe with chairs in the terminal as well as some cushy bench/couches in front of TV's playing Disney cartoons.
