Is there a handicaped area for parades & fireworks?
I am really looking for MK

Is MNSSHP any diffrent?

Is the area just for the Wheelchaired person or can the 3 of us be there.
Mom in WC dh & me?

Do we need to get there a hour or more before like we usally have to?

Sorry if this was asked before.

There are handicapped/wheelchair areas for the parades, but not for the fireworks - the assumption that Disney makes is that fireworks are up in the sky, so they don't need to provide a handicapped area (I don't necessarily agree, but it's not my park). The areas are marked on the park maps and I don't have time right now to look them up, but there are at least 2. One is b y the castle and one is in front of the train station. I think there is another in Frontierland, but not sure this late at night.

I don't know if it is any different for MNSSHP.

A total of 3 people should not be a problem. They usually line up the wheelchairs along the front and the rest of their party would be behind.

How early you have to get there depends on how busy it is. An hour ahead of time would not be unusual.

At MK there are 3 parade sections. They are: Main Street hub (right in the circle across from the Firehouse/City Hall, in front of the flagpole), Castle Hub, and Liberty Square. I believe the amount of people for the sections is the wheelchair user and up to 5 people (though I have heard if it is crowded some of the guests may be asked to sit elsewhere, not positive though). And I would HIGHLY recommend getting there at least an hour prior. They can fill up pretty quickly. And MNSSHP uses the same sections.
