My DH has to work during the day and then we are going over to a friends house to make dinner. We figured with our kids trying to go out to dinner would be a disaster. I think we are going to make a big seafood dinner of some sorts, lobster, crab legs, scallops and stuff like that.

Not the most of romantic evenings, but oh well!

Anyone else have anything special going on?

We're going to have breakfast in bed...then just lounge during the day. We also have dinner reservations for 8:30 at our favorite Italian restaurant (Biaggi's)

We are going to a small town in Wisconsin for a baptism, very romantic ;)

We'll probably celebrate by eating dinner out some night next week.

DH and I had hoped to go out to dinner but all the good babysitters are booked or have plans themselves. So we decided to make it a family day with a surprise trip to Build-A-Bear for DD and then Outback to go. Not that romantic but still really nice since I won't have to cook :D .

My Valentine Plans are to stay away from the restaurants on what will probably be one of the busiest days of the year and cook some seafood here at home, have a nice glass of wine and spend a quiet evening together.

Well my BF is coming over at 8 am so we can order our tickets for No Doubt and Blink 182...But then he has to leave for work :( When he gets home, its my turn to go to work...Not much fun...

I'm going to the dentist to have a filling replaced.

Oh yes, I live on the fast track.

I'm a florist so I know where I will be. Going in at 3am both Thursday and Friday to get a jump on the situation. So far we have more deliveries for Friday the 13th then the 14th. I just hope the weather holds.

I will be poolside, in Bonita Springs, in the sun, with my parents and DS. tee hee hee DH could not get a flight out until Monday the 16th. I imagine we will go out one night during the week for a 'date night', just not sure when.

We are going to have some friends over, and my parents and make BBQ ribs in my hubby's fabulous Traeger Grill. I bought strawberries today and am going to go to Costco tomorrow or Friday to get a cheesecake too. :D We didn't want to fight the restaurants or get a sitter, so this seemed like a fun alternative.

I can't believe it---------it's 59 degrees outside!!! The sun is shining and I feel so happy! I'm sure the rain will come back, it is Portland afterall, but I just feel hopeful that Spring is on it's way!

My bowling league is having a Valentine's Day dance.

We'll probably order pizza for dinner :teeth:

We are working at the Boy Scout troop pancake breakfast.. But For Valentine's Day eve.. both boys are sleeping over at friends so DH and I have from 7 PM to 10 Am all to ourselves...:teeth: Think we will go out to a nice dinner and then make good use of our time alone.:teeth: :teeth:

We will not be going out for dinner. That is also DH's b-day, so we'll probably fix a special meal & dessert at home with the kids. I was cutting up some fresh pineapple a few minutes ago and told him not to bother with flowers for Valentines, I'd prefer going to O'hana's (@the Polynesian) and watch the fireworks @ MK. :teeth: I don't think I'll get that though:(

We will be going out with 2 other couples to a great local restaurant (Spain for my fellow RIers). I made the ressie a month ago. It has become a tradition for the 6 of us to go out at this time of year since 3 of the 6 have birthdays between Feb.12 and Feb. 28. Thankfully, MIL always babysits. I can't wait....Paella and Sangria....what a pair!!!

I'm going to WDW, I think this beats every other Valentine's Days I've had ;)

We will spend the morning doing our usual Saturday errands, then take the kids iceskating. I think we are getting Chinese take out for dinner and then DH and I will spend the evening like most of our other Saturday nights..having a few drinks and watching tv shows that we have missed during the week and taped, or a movie, or hockey game.

We will be cooking dinner at home. We, or should I say HE, is buying my ering this week but it won't come in time... so we are going out to dinner next week instead!!!

We're going to buy a rug for the family room, and then to dinner at Legal Seafood. :)

We never go out on Valentines Day--I think this is the first time ever. But we were supposed to go to a concert in Kitchener, Ontario that night, and decided to cancel for a number of reasons. Can you say eight hour drive each way through the snow belt in the middle of February?? LOL! So we made a dinner reservation at Legal when we were there for lunch a few weeks ago as an alternative plan.

DBF and I are going out to dinner and maybe a movie(unless we go to karaoke)
