What's your Top Three favorite Musicals?

I have to say TV Musicals since I haven't been to many "live". You are killing me with the top 3...

1) "All That Jazz" (my fav)
2) "Wizard of Oz"
3) "Chicago"

:rockband::dance3:

"Wicked"

"Little Shop of Horrors"

and, as of 48 hours ago,

"The Drowsy Chaperone"

The Sound of Music
Mary Poppins
The Producers

I'll stick with the classics:

The Music Man

Camelot

My Fair Lady

Into the woods
Lion King
Wicked

....and soon to be added somewhere in that list, I am sure...The Drowsy Chaperone...DD and I keep replaying "Don't Want to Show Off" from the Tony's - over and over!!!!!

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
The Scarlet Pimpernel
Everything else is tied for 3rd!

Les Miserables
The Woman in White
The Phantom of the Opera
surprised I'm the first to list Les Mis

Les Mis makes my second top 3, as does West Side Story and Rent.

I can't believe you listed
the Woman in white. you must really love Weber, that show lasted maybe a minute and a half this season.

Oh gosh!! Forgot GREASE - hmmmmmm that moves Bye Bye Birdie out of the top three. I am probably the only one that liked Saturday Night Fever - saw it in NYC and it never made the long haul.

Have a Magical Disney Day!!

I saw Satruday Night Fever, too. I kept comparing it to the movie, and the movie won. My kids liked it, but they'd never seen the movie. My mother disliked it, just not her thing.

I am so jealous, how was Sutton foster? I saw her in Millie and loved her, missed her in Little Women...

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!! I loved EVERY SINGLE MINUTE of this show - I kept thinking, "This can't be better or funnier!" but then it was!!!! So quirky and silly and fun and...just a really great time!!!

Oh, and DD would add Avenue Q to her list! She saw it while younger DD and I saw Hairspray (also a favorite, but not top 3!)

Edited to add: Haha!!! Just saw the "Hairspray" posts!!! DD17 and I saw it last year, but younger DD was not with us on that trip, so she and I saw it (me for the second time!!!) and now we all love it!!!!!
