DH is completely sold on California Grill because of the views and he requested that if we go for our Anniversary he'd like to eat there instead of Narcoosee's<sp>

Anyone know what is really good to order there?

Thanks to *********** who posted those awesome pics of California Grill!

Can you go out on the observation deck anymore?

Everything is good but in particular, the pork, flat breads and the sushi are especially good.

We also love the amazing california wine selections both by the bottle and the glass.

I think it is a great place for an anniversary!

Last time I was there, in May, you could go out on the observation deck.

I was not much into pork until the first time I ordered it here. The Pork tenderloin with polenta and mushrooms is awesome!!!

We had dinner there on July 5th. The atmosphere is great, our dinners were a mixed bag. I am allergic to fish & so ordered the filet. It was marinated in a BBQ type sauce & was did not do justice to a nice piece of steak. However, the asparagus appetizer was to die for - I love to have some right now. My Dd's both tried the sushi for the first time from their dad's plate & we were all surprised that they like it. For steak, I much prefer Concourse Steakhouse. The deck was open & we went out to view the fireworks after our meal.

Be warned that the pork tenderlion may come to you a bit more rare than you may be used to seeing pork. Since pork is not as fatty as it used to be, it can be safely eaten at lower temperatures.

It is DELIECIOUS. Holly orders it almost every time.

Actually I think it can be served less well cooked these days because of the eradication of Trichinosis in this country.

Agree with all the above recommendations. I love the filet and am usually not a huge steak lover. I also ADORE the beet salad that was on the menu for quite a few months this year. Gave my older son a taste in December and he liked it so much he ordered it as his main course in march after some sushi. Excellent food at the CG. Great choice.

We went out on the observation deck at the end of June. I think the change is that people have reported that only customers of CG are welcome there now. Can't personally attest to that though.

I ordered the Pork and dh had the Filet. Both were great. It was the best dinner we've had at the world. (even better than Citrico's, imho) As of this past May, we were able to go out to the viewing deck.

Dessert: Dh had the sorbet, I was too full. But, when the server realized it was my birthday, she gave me a piece of chocolate/ raspberry cake to go (on the house!) It was extraordinary.

I want to go back!

I really liked the flatbreads ... For an entree, I would suggest the pan seared tuna. It's well cooked on the outside but raw on the inside. Our waitress told us that we could have the tuna well done but if we liked sushi, it would be better to have as is.
