What's your pet peeve?

I have to agree with TommyTutone. I was just at Disney last week and I can't tell you how many times people would stop in the middle of the row to try to get "the best seats." How many times do the CM have to say "please go all the way to the end of the row and fill up all available space?" What was great was the fact that people all around them told them to keep moving. So did I with my big mouth. Its just not fair for them to think that of the 200 people that a theater holds, that they are the most important ones and they deserve to sit in the middle. Sheesh!!

i also agree with this and sorry to say when we first started going to disney( 20 yrs ago) this did not happen.people who sat down go up and moved over when the cm said it..hate to be a cm now cause no one listens ...they are too self centered and rebellious

Now my younger brother isn't 8 but he's in his teens. We would all wait in line for 45 minutes and then he'd be like "I'm scared I don't think I want to no no" and we'd force him on the ride. Especially me, get your butt in the seat. People must have thought I was the worst. Thing they didn't see was that he did this on every ride. And then get off the ride saying "That was the best ride yet, my favorite!

My three year old does this too. It gets agravating after awhile. I'm probably looked at as the worst mom too, as I tell him look there are babies riding this ride and your not a baby are you. Most recent example was the Buzz Lightyear Ride, we were in line for 20 mins when we finally made our way inside and he started the "I'm scared" we made him ride it and he loved the ride and wanted to ride it again.

Some of these are so funny, but NOT. We've had several things that are annoying happen to us to. We haven't been to WDW as a family but we've been several times to Disneyland and have experienced many of the same things.

One pet peeve is when they have announced that no one else may board a tram and people continue to RUSH on board....like there isn't another tram DIRECTLY behind them waiting to be loaded!

Or those who DON'T fold up their strollers ahead of boarding the monorail or tram....

We were once waiting in line for the Saloon Show. I had my then 3 year old asleep in a stroller. They began admitting people into the show. My stroller wheel caught on the boardwalk where it was uneven and I accidentally pushed too hard to move it when the lady in front of me stopped quite suddenly looking for a "friend" who she was holding a place for...needless to say, the stroller ran into her. While I was apologizing profusely, she glared and cursed at me (in front of my children) and continued hollering all the way INTO the show, BEFORE the show, etc. until my DH arrived from the refreshmet line. I was embarrassed and a little put out myself. Accidents do happen and she was so outraged that I didn't really know what to do!

Lots of things happen in the parks that can be annoying! I am happy to say that usually, they just roll off of our backs and just consider it to be their problem!

Oh, yeah! When DH and I went to WDW before kids in 1989, a couple of bizarre things happened. We went to one of the 360 degree shows where you stand and watch a show (not sure which one). While we were watching, a man's wallet fell out of his pocket. At the end of the show, he started to walk away....I leaned over and picked up his wallet and got his attention. Before I could say much of anything (I think I said "this fell out of your pocket---you might need it later!") he snarled and almost tackled me to the floor! Whatever happened to "thank you". If I would have wanted to "keep" his wallet, I would never have gotten his attention.

I still would do the same thing if it happened again, though. I would hate to think what his vacation would have been like without his wallet....

Go figure!

hi
only one pet peeve but it ruined our mnnshp. a photograper who thought it was clever to be nasty to a brit. he told us we would not be so smug now about terrorist bombings as we came from london. i don,t think anyone from the u.k. had anything but profound sympathy and heartache during your terrible terrorist attack

How horrible! That man was a moron!!!!

How about people who do not sit where they are told? I was on a trip with my sis and we were about to rid the safari at AK. The 3 people did not want to join the 2 already in the seat they were told to use, so they hopped into the last row. We either had to ride sitting next to these obnoxious people or wait for the next jeep. We waited.
