What's your opinion of the sleep sofas?

Your thoughts will help us decide whether we can budget points for studio vacation or if we need something larger for the 4 of us. DW, DH, DS10 and DD8.

They are my points so I have never slept on the sleeper...

But my kids get to every trip...

I slept on the sofa bed this past January. It wasn't as bad as some I've slept in. A couple of years ago, eight of us (all women) shared a two bedroom at Boardwalk. No one complained about the sofa bed.

My MIL and FIL always use the sleeper sofa when we get 1BR's both at BWV and VB... They do pretty well with it...

Depending on what resort you are staying at, storing luggage can get a bit tricky, but not impossible..

The only times I might recommend having people use the sleeper sofa is if
A) You are planning on spending alot of time in the room.. The extra space is nice when trying to avoid stepping on each other..
B) If you have a young infant that gets up alot during the night, and you're constantly having foot traffic into the living room in the middle of the night...

My daughter is 7, my son is 5 and they share the sofa. We have never gotten a studio, always the 1-bedroom (can't do without the washer/dryer), and soon we'll be moving up to 2-bedrooms. Of course, we also recently bought more points....

I want my kids to be comfortable even on vacation. My son is a total bed hog, and they really don't sleep comfortably together.

I've slept on them at OKW. Not as comfortable as a real bed, but better than the average sleeper sofa. Of course, after a day at the parks, even the floor would feel great . The sleeper should be fine for your family.

Go for the one bedroom, they are so much roomier, and I think you would really enjoy yourself more. We had a 2 BR for our latest trip to VB, my DD 12 was totally amazed at the size of the room, we had 5 A and 1C, and everyone got a good night's sleep everynight.

I sleep on them a lot, but only as a single adult. I think they're fine.

OKW studios have two queen beds, if you wind up being interested in beds but want to stick with a studio.

and don't have the ambition to either.

We bring an aero bed on our trips and stay in 2 BR's. I think they fit one of our kids well.

We took my grandmother, the kids great grandmother, with us one year and booked a 1 br for 4 of us. We let my grandmother have the king size bed and put our youngest DS in the room with her on a blow-up mattress. DH & I slept on the sleeper sofa. We did this mostly because we wanted her to have the privacy of the bedroom and we knew that DS and grandmother would go to bed the earliest. I will book a 2 br if this were to come up again. That was the worst sleep I've ever had at OKW. DH & I did not fit on the bed and the mattress was too thin, I could feel the bar under me all night long. My kids don't complain when they sleep on it, but 2 adults, never again!

My sister-in-law and I shared it ak OKW last month. (The 7 year olds thought they were hot getting the bedroom - we had the wine and microwave though).

I wouldn't say it is as good as a real bed but we were really tired so it worked fine,

I would like to see them get rid of them but then It's home away from home would just be a room.The studio and 2 bedrooms should have 2 queens.Having 2 sofa beds in a 2 bedroom stinks.They have changed soom rooms in the new BCV.
