Mine is to cut down on cafeine and otherwise concentrate on doing those dietary things that would promote calcium intake. The main reason for cutting back on cafeine, for me,is that it somehow encourages osteoporosis(I think it robs the body of calcium).
My resolution is to stick to weight watchers in 2008. I started 11 weeks ago with a WW at Work program, and have had 11 straight weeks of losses (some of them were so little I didn't even know the scale could register them). I don't know if we have enough people to do another WW at work, but I will find and attend other meetings if I need to.
I also want to start a regular exercise routine. I do this for a while, and then stop--its very frustrating, and I want to stop stopping exercise in 2008.
My NYR are to drink more water, stop ordering lunch at work, eat healthier, and go to the gym at least 3 times a week. Last year I went vegetarian for 10 months and found I was eating more unhealthy than I was when I was eating meat (lots of potatoes fried or covered in cheese and junk food). I still would like to keep my meat consumption down and eat more fruits and veggies.
I'm going to have to start out fresh here. My resolution is to get back on track. I'll start WW again, drink my 8, and get my butt to the gym at least 4 times a week.
I had lost 70, I've gained about half of that back. I have to lose it again, plus continue on.
I am thinking how I want to face the New Year. I've got several LTO (life takes over) challenges and my goal is that as I feel the stress I learn how to eat to live versus live to eat. I always seem to turn to food as comfort. It is a goal I'd love to have a better handle on and I'd like to make it my New Year's Resolution to get a better grip on this.
Get back on the band wagon. I was doing really well up until about March of this year so I need to get back to going to the gym on a regular basis. I want to run at least 4 5Ks this year. I'm thinking my first will be in March or April. I was wogging about 2 miles a day before slowing down, I'd like to get back up there. I'd like to log in 1000 miles this year between walking and running. I have a goal of swimming 100 miles in the pool this year.
I just want to be healthier. I want to have energy and stamina again. I hate feeling like a sloth.
I'd like to be able to buy my clothes from the misses dept, and not the women's dept.
I don't ever expect to be the skinny little stick I was in my early 20's but I'd sure like to be a size 8 or 10 again. I figure I'd be about 140 pounds around then and I could live with that.
eat healthier increase fruits, veggies, and water. Decrease red meat and meat & carbs in general. Lost 35# last year kept 30# off. Goal for 2008 is to lose 58.5 # by my 40th birthday on 9/11/08. It will be hard but I know I can do it. Good luck everyone.
I want to exercise more and keep it up through the year. I had lost 40 pounds, and gained back 6, and my goal now is to lose 35 more pounds, but realistically, for me to lose it, and keep it off, I'm pushing for 12 pounds by my april disney trip. It's a slow, 2 steps forward, 1 step back for me, but I can do it as long as I don't give up.
Hi everyone,
My resolution is very simple : I need to lost a total of 60 Pounds or maybe more if possible for my next Disney Trip in November 2008. I really want to improve my health !
