What's your "Must Eat" at HS?

We have been to:

Pizza Planet--fine. Pizza was fresh, hot, and doughy.
Backlot Express--um, okay. I was excited about that avocado burger until I tried it. Shoot. And the desserts were just plain bad.
ABC Commissary--bad. Worst meal I've had at WDW. We must've hit them on an off day.

Mama Melrose--great! Some of the best service I've ever had.
Sci-Fi--great atmosphere, okay food. Burgers, fries, and shakes are fine. Other items, not so much.
Starring Rolls-wonderful cupcakes!

---just my personal opinions from only a visit or two at each location. Your mileage may vary. Our only must-do so far is cupcakes at Starring Rolls.

We are trying Brown Derby on our upcoming trip. I have high hopes!

We have always enjoyed mama melrose and have never had bad service there so far. We tried sci fi and it just wasn't for us- very dark, noisy, and typical "steak n shake" food. Not bad, just nothing special.

Table service? 50's Prime Time Cafe

Quick service? None

Snack? Red Velvet Cupcake from the Starring Rolls Cafe

DHS is not really our favorite place to eat, but I will say we really enjoy the Asian salad at ABC commissary. It is always cold and fresh and vegetarian. A yummy lunch on a hot day.

Thanks for all the responses! I'm feeling better about my ressie at 50's Prime time. And now I have lots of snack ideas! :thumbsup2

We like Sci-fi. I love 50's but my husband does not. The chicken is so good at 50s. I really want to try the pot roast if I ever get to eat there again.

The Pot Roast is great as well. I really have never had a bad entree at 50's We try to get something different each time we go.

The only thing would be cupcakes from Starring Rolls. There isn't really much to eat there that has a wow factor for me.

My husband says he wont go back because the meatloaf was really bad. We'll see though.;)

Well I didnt think it was bad But I do not like Green Peppers in my Meatloaf and I found that they do use Peppers in theirs so maybe that is what he did not like. That is the one dish I will not order again because of the Peppers not because it was Really Bad

I like the Sci-Fi Dine-In for Table Service. Great atmosphere!

:thumbsup2

Along with Sci-Fi, we really like 50's Prime Time and Mama Melrose for TS restaurants.

We also like to go to Starring Rolls for some cupcakes and for snacks we like to get frozen lemonades (the slushie kind) and an ice cream sandwich from Hollywood Scoops.

Picnic burger at Sci Fi
Onion Rings at Prime Time
Cup of coffee and a pastry at the coffee cart outside ToT (not great, but that's what I do while dh rides ToT and I wait for my turn while I watch the kiddos). Tradition.

We seem to end up at Pizza Planet for lunch--easy to decide what to get:)
We like 50's Prime Time, but I did have more fun there when we had our sons with us (they were 18 and 20 at the time) than last year when we were without kids.

I honestly do not like the food at DHS. I thought the pretzel dog and milkshake at Mim dockside was solid
