mucking ....for you non horse people its what is the end result of the hay & feed and honestly its not even the "raking" of it but lifting the heavy buckets after I wheel it off in a garden cart to dump it elsewhere ....good thing I love her
Most chores don't bother me either. I like to do them because then I know they are done right!
But, I hate washing windows....they always seem streaked to me!!
Word for word, that is me. I cannot stand when someone else does the dishes or cleans the bathroom because I cannot trust that they've cleaned them properly.
And... I really hate washing windows for the same reason you do, I cannot for the life of me do it the first time without leaving streaks. I have to go back and it irritates me.
I'm not crazy about most chores, not because I'm lazy but because it's so repetitive. I think, "uh...didn't I just do this yesterday? And the day before...and the day before..." I can't stand repetitive tasks. Give me something new!
1. Scrubbing the bathroom floor. EWWW! Seems worse than the toilet to me, probably because the grout never looks clean. I'm never happy with it. Almost ready to try re-grouting the whole floor with a darker color. Maybe it won't annoy me so much then.
2. Have to agree with the tar on the car. I pretty much refuse to do it, make the kids help DH. I figure that's fair since I clean the litter box 99% of the time.
DD and DS would agree with the poster who mentioned washing the dishes. They are just grossed out by food residue left on the dishes after scraping and no logic "it's YOUR plate, YOUR food, YOUR germs" can talk them out of it.

I RATHER do this than vacuum or clean the bathroom!! Honestly, no one ever bothers you-for fear they might be asked to help-and you can drag it out as long as possible.
So true, this. My least favorite chore is whichever one I should be doing at the moment, but have been procrastinating so long that it is now a big 'ol mountain of a chore...
Well I'm not really a fan of cleaning the tub but I like it WAY MORE than having to clean a shower stall... stupid glass doors.
But my least favorite chore is probably doing dishes. I have no idea why. I avoid it like the plague which is definitely not a good thing all the time!! I just wish I could put it all in the dishwasher (which, incidentally, I only mind loading utensils that have been sitting in the sink into, because they themselves are usually gross and I have no idea why they weren't put in the dishwasher!!)
I don't really have a "least favorite chore".. I really don't mind doing whatever needs to be done.. However, when I'm back at my DD's for the winter I'm not crazy about vacuuming - only because their vacuum cleaner is the heaviest machine I have ever had the sad misfortune to try to push around..
Last week DD said that it might be broke - yay! Hopefully that means they'll buy a new one that is hopefully much lighter..
Offer to buy her one and that way, you might get the chance to pick it out!
But I hear you. We have two vacuums. One for carpets and one for hardwood floors. The one for the floors is so heavy and it needs water and cleansers. But, it does a really good job. But so does using the Swiffer Triple threat and those are much lighter.
