What's your goal for today?

Make it to dance class. Ended up spending over $150 in curriculum for 2 of my kids. 1 subject each! OI! And that is cheap stuff!!!!!

Mission accomplished!! My goal today was to be reasonably productive at the office (often completely impossible with all the interruptions inherent to my role) and put supper on the table. All done and that's all I've got in me - now it's chill time!!

Deep clean the bathroom. I am 2 days overdue. I have 3 boys. It's our only bathroom.

You get the picture.

Work has been crazy, they have all had a ton going on so they aren't here much, I WFH so always do it on my lunch...but lunch the last 2 days has been spent doing other things.

I/spot clean it every day, but I deep clean it once a week...wash walls, wash curtains, mop, etc.

Work today, make supper on my lunch since the end of the day is crazy busy, build an online grocery order for pickup this weekend, and try to get in my 10,000 steps.

Ooh, that sounds good! What time's dinner? 😉
Yeah, no kidding! I've never even heard of it and I think it might be my new favorite dish!

I'm thinking seriously about getting a haircut, I will probably shave.

I’m going to walk this morning. This afternoon I’m packing and leaving to visit a friend. Need to get items in order to sell my car next week. That’s a busy day for me.

Several specific projects need to be completed at the office to stay on-track for month-end. It’s basically treading water all summer due to staff vacations but some things just can’t be let go. I need to rush home tonight and spend two or three hours painting; I started on Tuesday and we’ve got company coming for the long weekend (Heritage Day here in Canada). Gotta get it done and the mess put away. It’ll be every-man-for-himself for supper tonight, or what’s otherwise known as “scrounge”.

To get through the work day. Hopefully without my boss treating me like this is my first job or that I sit around all day doing nothing. I got backed up in January when I was out sick for a week and then again when I was out for a week in mid-May coupled with a work load increase I have been perpetually behind. I am on the brink of being caught up, expect for one “low priority task” but I don’t think my boss truly understands how much more my workload is. I haven’t been taking breaks since January just because I don’t feel like I can plus working OT nearly everyday.

I volunteered to work today. I volunteered for most of the Thursday’s in July. To pay for the initially food cost and things for DD college apartment. I am (in my mind) pretending I’m not at work.
On my lunch hour . I did stuff I would of done at home today.
I might mow tonight.
Our deck is being replaced today. I made a design decision this AM.

It's not Heritage Day in Canada. It's Heritage Day in Alberta I guess. Never even heard of Heritage Day actually.
This weekend is the Terry Fox long weekend in Manitoba. (up until a few years ago it was just the August long weekend or civic holiday) (also...Terry was born in Winnipeg.....)

ETA - Googled Heritage Day and this is what I found for the August long - It's called Regatta Day in Newfoundland, Terry Fox Day in MB, Saskatchewan Day in SK, British Columbia Day in BC, Natal Day in Nova Scotia and PEI, Simcoe Day in Toronto, New Brunswick Day in New Brunswick, Colonel By Day in Ottawa, Heritage Day in Alberta and Joseph Brant Day in Burlington, ON. It is called Benjamin Vaughan day in the City of Vaughan, Ontario. Weird that Ontario has various names across the province.

Question - is there a long weekend in the USA this upcoming weekend?

Today -make it through the workday. First day in office in 2.5 weeks.

Got the bathroom scrubbed, blinds washed, window and shower curtains washed, rug washed, baseboards washed, swept. Just need to mop in there.

Also got kitchen curtains down and washed/bleached, hung out to dry.

Decontaminated the younger sons room, ha!

Now just need to wash dishes and mop kitchen/bathroom and I will be done for the day. Glad I had the capacity to take a longer lunch today..

Not a long weekend for us this weekend - Labor Day is coming in about 5 weeks, but other than that...nope.

It was to make banana muffins with my over ripe bananas - mission accomplished ✅

First day I felt good enough to do my exercises since I had Covid! ::yes::
