Whats your favourite thing about dlp?

Goofy hugging me at check-in is one of my fave memories (and first impressions) of my first ever visit to DLP. I loved Animagique as well - that was the first thing we did when we entered the parks - went to WDS - Animagique set the scene, and put us in the mood, for 3 wonderful days of Disney magic.

My fave ride is IASW - we did that 4 or 5 times on our last trip - I am completely gobsmacked at that ride every time I do it, and the last "room" where they are all dressed in white makes me want to cry at the beauty of it every single time.

I like the fact that POTC is such a long ride.... It's worth waiting in line for...

Have a look at that thing on Google Earth. It's HUGE!

The theming is perfect. IMO the ride actually starts long before you go inside... if that makes any sense? :lmao:

You can actually walk to it if you stay on site.

The Discovery Arcade.

Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean...

i've just been catching up what everyones posted on this thread and everyone one of them i have been nodding my head and agreeing with, i just love everything about dlp lol

My other fav thing is that i get to come on this board and get loadsa help with trip planning and tips

Charming:rolleyes: just sharing the love for the Dis boards lol

Do i get promoted for that comment:rolleyes1 hehe

Yes your right, i cant believe i didnt notice, looking at that wdw castle photo reminded me of somthing a a cm told us while we were chatting and waiting for the fireworks to start.

He said, that in the castle, the very top window was walts office, and they always knew when he was in his office because the light was on so then when he died they decided that they would keep the light on in that window all the time because they knew that walt would always be there. How nice it that.Altho i dont know if it true.
That cm was lovely he was maning a a VIP seated area for the fireworks and a number of ppl crowded round this area to watch the fireworks and he started a little quiz and had to contestents up answering questions,he was a great entertainer~ very nice man indeed.

Sorry i'm going off the topic, reid will tell me off again

I like the way my children can be children. I am the type of dad that worries that his kids are disturbing others, but at DLP and in particular the Explorers Hotel they can be themselves.

The smiles on their faces makes all the hard work in saving up for the trip so worth it.

Its a place we can all relax.......... and NOT act our age :)

It sure is:cheer2: , its a place for both children and adults to play hehe. I've been asked by many ppl "arent you abit to old for disneyland" and my reply always is "you wouldnt say that if you had been".:goodvibes

great fun - it's not too big, not too small and, best of all, it's in France! The best part for me was being able to have excellent crepes while my boys enjoyed the rides LOL

Nothing beats a good French crepe

I love POTC, Star Tours, Moteurs, the Railroad and generally the 2 Parks as a whole, where age does not matter and everyone can have a great time.,

Another thing about dlp is the food, its wonderful, lots to choose from and it was always tasty and well presented
