What's Your Favourite Flower Colour?

Okay, I'm going to stop right there.

Obviously blue flowers are my favourite. Some of the blue perennials that I have in the garden are;

Clematis - Blue Ravine
Delphinium - Blue Mirror
Golden Creeping Speedwell - Trehane
Moss Phlox - Emerald Cushion Blue
Cranesbill Geranium - Johnson's Blue
Carpathian Harebell - Blue Clips
Monkshood - Azure
Salvia - Blue Queen
Salvia - May Night

Of course there are lots of blue annuals to buy too!

Do you have a favourite flower colour, one that always attracts you?

Funny but I can't seem to just pick one. I was in the nursery today and am always immediately drawn to red -- geraniums, roses, impatiens. Of course, the minute I pick them up I start thinking, "This needs some salvia -- maybe a yellow marigold to really set it off!" Therewas a vulvcan rhododendron, too -- a vivid scarlett -- that I think I'm going back for.

Red it is!

Judging from my gardens... I think it is a tie between purplish blue and red! In fact, I am putting a new bed together this year.. and guess what the color combo is? You guessed it! Red Verbena mixed with Blue Bedder Salvia!

I love the hot, hot colors of summer. Give me those bright oranges, the sunny yellows, the red hot reds and the beautiful purples all mixed together.

I know, I know.

I can't help it. I'm Italian.....

I like the oranges and yellows too! I like a very soft peach color all they up to bright orange. I like soft lemon yellow all the way to sun blazing yellow.

Then throw in some pinks and I'm happy.

I can't pick just one, but my favorite flowers tend to be blue, lavender, purple, red, or pink. White is nice if it's a filler, too.

I like yellow and orange flowers, but they're not my favorite.

I like a red flower. I saw a rose in WDW that was called a parfaie (SP) looked red and white swirled together.. I loved the color it made. Looked like ice cream.
