Mine's chocolate cake :cloud9:

To me, it's not real dessert if it has fruit

What's yours?

I LOVE pumpkin pie. My DH hates it though, so I don't get to have it very often.

DH and DS favorite is cherry pretzel torte, it's pretty darn good.

Mine is a dessert a friend of mine (who is a caterer) makes for me. I renamed it "Heaven in a Bowl." It's little pieces of cake, layered with pudding, ice cream topping, and Cool Whip. I had it as our wedding "cake." :teeth: You can use any combination of flavors you want--I'm fond of praline with vanilla pudding and butterscotch topping but I can truly admit that I've never had a combination I haven't loved!

Well, that IS true. But my hips don't really need a whole pumpkin pie...

Mine's Cheesecake. Just good 'ol plain cheesecake with whipped cream on top. :goodvibes

I so agree.
I like anything with chocolate in it. :wave2:

I have 2 favorites :
homemade chocolate meringue pie (NOT MADE W/ PUDDING)
cheesecake w/ strawberries or cherries
I also love chocolate cake and brownies!

Cheesecake.

And Im not picky - I dont care what kind of cheesecake it is. You could put pickles on it - Ill still eat it.

***SEE MY TAG*** It's what I think my co-workers are thinking if they bring cheesecake for "snack" days, about me!!! :rotfl:

My line is "if it ain't chocolate, it ain't worth it!"

NMAmy, that heaven in a bowl sounds delicious!
:thumbsup2

I have rather low-rent tastes, I like ice cream or Hostess Chocodiles/Cupcakes.

Mine is Chili's CHOCOLATE CHIP PARADISE PIE. It's fantastic but as you can see below it's really not very good for you. I have it maybe once a year.

"We start with a warm, chewy bar layered with chocolate chips, walnuts and coconut. Topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with hot fudge and caramel."

It is! And you can even make it chocolatey, if you want.

I don't have the recipe here but the basic premise is:

Make one box cake, any flavor, according to the directions on the box. Cut into small pieces when cooled.

Make two boxes pudding, any flavor.

Place some of the cake in the bottom of a medium sized bowl, layer with some pudding, then ice cream topping drizzled over it, continue layering until the bowl is full. Cover entire top layer with a tub of Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts and drizzle more ice cream topping over it.

HEAVEN IN A BOWL!! I'm doing you guys a favor. Try this. :lmao: People were knocking each other over getting to this at my wedding and I got about a zillion email requests for the recipe afterward.

Favorite dessert?????? Is that a trick question?? ;)
Me?? Pick a favorite??
Impossible!
:teeth:

This is simply not true!!!

You add enough butter & sugar - you can make anything dessert! :thumbsup2

I'm not a huge dessert fan. if we get anything after the meal, it is usually a cheese plate. Yum...cheese!

If I had to say something sweet, I guess it would be a cake that my mother makes for my sister's birthday. It is an angel food cake that is hollowed out and filled with chopped fresh strawberries and (real) whipped cream, then frosted with more (real) whipped cream. The whipped cream is only lightly sweetened. It tastes very fresh and light.

Usually anything chocolate or cheesecake, but we went to Macaroni Grill for Mother's Day and had their Lemon Passion Cake for dessert. Oh-my-gosh, it was AMAZING!! I want another piece right now.

Cheesecake, I rarely eat it though because most restaurants around here put fruit topping on it which I don't like. I supposed I could go to cheescake factory but I am just not impressed by the place. I must be odd.
