I'm going to agree with you Renin! Maybe because your name is so close to mine!!! No, that is not it. Our best trips have been in early Feb. It is so easy to get around and see everything and the crowds are very low. So relaxed and just fun.
every time we go to florida it is the second week of jan. perfect weather, gets us out of the heart of maine winter, and we kill not two, but three birds with one stone,lmao...my b-day (14)and dh and mine's anniversary(8), and a family vaca.
I like May and October. It's typically not as crowded, not as hot, and in May there's the Flower Show and October is the Food & Wine Fest! What more could I ask for??
I Like Jan, Feb, March, July and August, and Sept and Oct and Nov too. I haven't come across a month yet that isn't my favorite! I think that is why I keep going back.
We enjoy late October/early November. There is very little rain, and the weather is perfect. The F&W Festival at Epcot and MNSSHP are a plus! We have tried several trips in December and while the holiday decorations were great, the weather was iffy. We have photos of DS wearing a hat and mittens. We rarely used the hotel pool.
I like July 4th week because it's nice and cool and there are hardly any people in the parks!
Okay - so maybe it's hot at Hades and crowded as all-get-out - but that's when we started going, and we are "tradition" people so if we go once at that time of the year, somehow we need to go that time every year - Now that my kids are in school, our time is limited to the peak times - summer or spring break - if we went over spring break, our girls would whine all summer about being bored! LOL at least this cuts the summer in half and gives us something to break up the long hot summer.
BUT - I'm in Charleston, South Carolina - about a 25 minute drive to the Isle of Palms beach - so we can only go to the beach SO many times - and we have season passes to the local water parks - and even that gets a little boring after a while! Believe me it's JUST as hot here in the summer! (So I'm not in shock because of the heat in FL, unlike our poor Yankee friends!)
Early September. Great weather, no crowds and can ride all the rides as many times as you want and up until last year, never had to worry about hurricanes!
We usually only can go during the summer, but for our anniversary we went from Dec.9th-12th in 2004. I must admit the decorations are out of this world, it's like visiting a whole new WDW. The light show at MGM blew me away, the x-mas carols playing everywhere . Even Santa at DTD. And let's not forget MVMCP!
But for atmosphere, long park hours and that vacation feel, to me nothing can beat my HOT HOT HOT summer crowds of JULY!
