...that reminds you of or is themed after a Disney movie??

Mine is Splash Mountain (after Song of the South), I just love that ride and every thing about it!!

Now if only they would get a clue and release the movie on DVD...

P.S. Peter Pan's Flight is a close second for me...

maybe riding Thunder Mtn Railroad with my 7 yr old daughter - during the second leg of that, she seemingly falls out of the seat when the train dips. She gets the biggest kick out out that ever since she was 4. I just love it. A close 2nd would be getting around the park to get pictures and autographs with the characters. Love the memories

Good one!! It's funny how that whole ride changed (even before the recent additions) when the movie came out... It didn't really change at all in reality, but the movie changes the way you look at it, IMO.

I love Splash Mountain and I love Song of the South. My dad has an old VHS of this movie from Japan (has Japanese subtitles during the songs) but I really wish they would release it on DVD so I could add it to my collection of Disney movies.

It's hard to pick just one thing. But if I had to choose I would say Main Street, specially at night, low season. It's beautiful. The music. Sights. Smells. That says Disney to me.

Although the other night I was riding Big Thunder Mountain as the Wishes fireworks were going on almost above us and it was awesome. That moment said "Disney" to me.

I love Song of the South but I am not a fan of water rides so I don't do that veyr much.

Pirates is a great ride but I wasn't a fan of the movie.

I guess I would have to go with Buzz Lightyear. :thumbsup2

On the Pooh ride, everytime I hear the heffalumps and woozles song I think of watching one of the animated Pooh movies when I was 3 or so. Brings back such a happy feeling :goodvibes

My favorite thing that just SAYS Disney to me is the first sight of the castle and the first walk down Main Street. Nothing beats that. My favorite ride is Soarin'. I've heard they are going to change it to Soarin' over Florida after the Happiest Celebration on Earth. Any truth to this?

Thanks for the responses, but I must have not worded the question very clearly...

I'm looking specifically for things at Disney World (could be anywhere on the Disney property) that you like that are themed after or reminds you of one of the Disney movies... (i.e. Tea Cups after Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan's Flight after Peter Pan, Splash Mountain after Song of the South, etc...)

The one that said heffalumps and woozles song from The Winnie The Pooh ride hit it right on the nose... that's what I'm talking about...

The funny thing about Splash Mountain and Song of the South - I'm one of those people that were riding Spalsh Mountain before I even knew that it was themed after a movie... When I found out that there was a movie, I just had to see it... Obviously it's a hard one to get your hands on, but I did. And now that I've seen it, it's my favorite Disney movie... and the ride is even better now because the storyline makes sense...

My favorite lately is partipating in "Who wants to be a Millionaire" show in MGM. It's fun. My wife and i played it twice during our honeymoon !

You know everytime you play , questions are different and audience is different !

Peter Pan for sure! It follows the story line of the movie so well! Pooh also does a good job of that, but I like Pan better. Very imaginative, especially for the age of the attraction. I like Pirates better as a ride, but it doesn't remind me of the movie like Pan does. I think the Pirates ride is better than the movie, so the movie reminds me of the ride, but the ride doesn't remind me of the movie. I also like Splash better as a ride, but I've never seen Song of the South so it doesn't remind me of the movie.

Also, it's not themed after a movie, but Kilimanjaro Safari sure made me think a lot about Lion King.

I love the impression of Main Street, and then seeing Cinderalla's castle.

Of course, all the rides.

Oh good one... Nothing says Disney movies like Philarmagic... They did a great job with that attraction. To me it's the best 3D movie I've ever seen...

Fantasmic! :thumbsup2
I always really, really want to see Fantasia when I see Fantasmic even though I've never seen it. (I forget once I'm back in reality. Thanks for reminding me!)

The Haunted Mansion...It has to be our families first ride when we get there!
( I guess it is like a tradition...strange huh? ) :teeth:

...and now I want to go even more to see the hidden secrets that I have be reading so much about!

 :cheer2:  :cheer2:

The Great Movie Ride-it's not exactly "the best" Disney rep. but the scenes with Indiana Jones and the Wizard of OZ are awesome.
Buzz Lightyear is turning into one of our favorite rides...
