What's your favorite season and why?

Mine was always summer, but now it's fall. I love the colors (deep red, orange, brown, gold) and the smells (pumpkin pie) plus that bit of crispness in the air (or at least slightly cooler temps in S FL!) Plus as a teacher, the kids are always better behaved in the fall.

I was talking to a friend today about how much we used to love summer but not so much now. Fall is definitely my favorite

Fall is also my favorite. Like the OP mentioned the colors and smells are the main reason. But also DH is also able to take some time off after a very busy summer so we're able to spend more time together as a family.

FALL!!! It's my Anniversary (Oct. 16). PLus I love picking apples, hayrides, carving pumpkins, drinking cider, looking at all the beautiful leaves, getting out the sweaters and jeans that have been hiding in the closets, bonfires, hot chocolate in the evenings.... I love fall!

I'm always the unpopular one with this question

WINTER. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I snow. I love cross country skiing, snowball fights, and just the pure beauty that is freshly fallen snow. I love hockey, and hockey season is mainly in winter. My allergies, while not gone, are significantly better in the winter. I just love everything about that beautiful season. There's nothing better than curling up by the window and watching the snowfall. I can and do sit there for hours, just mezmerized by the beauty. Yup, you all are going to call me crazy but that's me.

Love Fall! It started as a kid because my BD is in september, but as I have gotten older, thats not the plus it use to be!! I still love fall the best!

I also LOVE fall! For all the same reasons. I love the smell of fireplaces or wood stoves, the crunch of the leaves under your feet. I love the colors of the leaves and the colors of the clothes for the fall.
I really feel very happy and want to do more in the fall. Does that make sense?
