... for a great meal at Epcot? I'm going to be staying at the BWV for a few nights, and I wanted to sample some great food that isn't too far away from me. :sunny:

1. Chefs de France - This place had a lot to live up to, as highly as
it was talked-up before our first visit there. It delivered.
Excellent service, superior food, and overall impressive experience.

2. Coral Reef - Consistently under-rated restaurant, serving up
artistic food preparations with an incredible view.

3. Akershus - For the smoked- and pickeled-fish lovers of the world,
this is Mecca.

We like Le Cellier very much. The cheddar cheese soup and mushroom filet are wonderful.

We like Le Cellier and Chefs de France the best. Hmmmm. I see a French theme going on here. Also, try the Yachtsman Steakhouse - expensive but yummy.

And for the best burger at Disney, try Beaches & Cream at the YC/BC.

One of the sampler platters at Restaurant Marrakesh is a great way to get a large variety of yummy off-the-beaten-path food for a non-ridiculous price.

I know if doesn't always get the best of reviews on this board, but we absolutely loved San Angel Inn during our June trip.

One of our favorites is Spoodles on the Boardwalk, we always eat here at least once on every visit. We also love The Rose & Crown Pub in Epcot. I have our restaurant reviews on this board from our trip we just compleated if you would like to read more about these 2 restaurants.

Thanks for the input! :bounce: All the places sounds great!

Any opinions on the Japanese Teppanyaki place? I LOVE Japanese food, but of course only if it's good!

ok near by we loved the cape may cafe at your resort. Spoodles at the boardwalk, Rose and Crown for Illuminations at WS. We did not like the San Angel Inn in Mexico at WS.

We tried Le Celliers and Chef de France for the first time this trip. Both were highly recommended on this board. Personally, I prefer Chef de France much more. The food, cheery ambience and service was fantastic. We hear about the French being standoffish but our waitress was extraordinarily friendly and her service was impeccable. We must have tipped her 30%.

We love Berigarten in Epcot. The food is great and the show is a lot of fun

We love Garden Grill, which isn't in WS, but still good homey food. We also enjoyed Marrakesh this time - we all had the sampler platter and it was fun tasting a little bit of everything.

We didn't enjoy Le Cellier and find it inferior to both the ambience and food that we get at home, but that's just our opinion.

Have heard good things about Teppanyaki, but that it is pricey. We have yet to try it but it's on our list of places to get to.

We like the Rose and Crown (as well as the fish and chips window),
had a really loooong wait and ok food at Le Cellier,
France could live without (was a huge deal asking for REAL butter:rolleyes: ),
liked the tempura and sushi in Japan (had it in the bar and the counter food area forgot its name),
San Angel was the first restuarant we ever ate at at Epcot in 1998. It was okay and glad we did it but not sure if I would go back. Not my favorite but it was a nice experience overlooking the water.
Had counter service chinese and it was okay.

The best thing about Epcot is that there are so many different choices there is something for everyone :)

I love the Teppanyaki dining room!!
I like to eat healthier food if I can and have a very sensitive stomach. And I never have felt sick after eating here.
The food at Teppanyaki is always very good.
You have choices of grilled chicken, steak, shrimp, scallops or any combinations of the above served with veggies and rice.
They also give you a salad with the best ginger salad dressing.
I also like the fact that you are entertained while waiting for your meal. Depending on the chef you get, some are very entertaining.

Another vote for Akershus. Good variety, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere! :D
