I ve been waiting for a girl like you foreigner 1981 US army basic training had a christmas break.so sent home or stay on base.....took a thruways bus from Columbia south carolina to palm springs. radio on all night and this song with its intrumental rifts and lyrics/chours....very haunting...life was haunting then and this song brough normalcy....everytime I hear that song....I think of those 2 weeks in palm springs.
