What's Your Favorite Mixed Drink??

My favorite is Grape Crush (also has vodka lucky bunni). But I am dying to try an Apple Martini (I've heard they are wonderful).

As for the smoking thing, I'm a reformed that used to be a 2 packer so I have to stay away!

Melon Ball - Midori, Vodka, sour mix and DH puts in some oj. Blens with lots of ice - yummy!

Denae

Grog! No, really, grog - just rum and water. Good stuff. I've also long been a fan of the dry vodka martini, as well as the classic 7 & 7. Mmmmm... :teeth: Oh yes, and rum punch is quite good. ::yes::

Frozen Mudslides and Malibu Bay Breezes

Morgans spiced and diet coke

:sunny:

Hi

my favorite drinks are made with a sour mix!

I like the midori sours @ House of Blues in Downtown and
The drinks at the Bar at the Polly.

Anything with the sour mix and fruit juices..

Would be nice to be at one or any of the pools in WDW/Universal enjoying a tastey drink on this warm sunny afternoon!

It's warm here today, mid 50's, I am outside Boston, this is WARM!!!LOL!

:earsgirl:

Cheers!

Lisa, the Grape Crush sounds gooood! What's in it?

Dirty vodka martini with extra olives. Using Grey Goose vodka (Thank you Peggy for that tip).

Does that qualify as a mixed drink? It does, right?

Current drink of choice right now is a Kamakazie.

1 part Vodka
1 part Triple sec
1 part Rose's Lime Juice

Yep - Martinis count! :)

Margarita on the rocks or Lemon Drop martini. I like the sour ones! :teeth: I also enjoy a glass of red wine; not a mixed drink, but a fave!

Dirty Martini - gin, straight up, must be in a martini glass

I know this is going to be a stupid question but, what is a "dirty martini". Is it just as you said, it's gin straight up? I've always wondered.

Bahama Mama on the rocks....not frozen

the everclear and kool-aid is reminding me of the Purple Passion parties we had in high school

How has nobody mentioned the Kungaloosh yet!? What kind of Disney people are you? ;)

I'm a fan of fruity-girly drinks, I must admit. If you stick an umbrella in it, I'll probably be thrilled.

No it's not a stupid question. I didn't know myself until a few years ago.

It's a regular gin martini (as opposed to vodka martini) with a little brine from the olive jar added in. If you like olives you would probably like it. By straight up I mean no ice in the glass (it is strained). I've found that in ordering it I need to include everything to get it right.

A lot of people who don't like martinis really like a dirty martini. If you like olives try it sometime. You can also have a dirty vodka martini if you prefer vodka to gin.

Ever tried a chocolate martini? I'm not sure what's in them but it makes a divine dessert.

OMG - I had a chocolate martini for the first time on New Years Eve... it was spectacular! I'm with you, I always like my martinis straight up. Else they'll get diluted by melting ice.

Kamikazee, Alabama Slammer, twisted lemonade, lemon drop I think (shoot the vodka, bite the sugar coated lemon wedge). Also, I like blue drinks: kamikazee, iced tea, blue monday. If it's happy hour and I have to stick to well drinks, I like vodka & cranberry (Cape Codder?) or a screwdriver.

I saw a club which was advertising purple kamikazee's...gotta try that!

Yes...I like to smoke when I drink. Don't normally smoke but I like a cigarette with my drink.

Josh,

So many yummy replies! Grape Crush has Chambord (raspberry liquor), vodka & either or lemonade/pink lemonade/or sour mix.....

I think it is much better with pink lemonade, you can also do them frozen! If you choose to do it frozen that use frozen lemonade instead, it helps a little. I'd give you exact measurements but it really is all to taste. I use close to 1/2 a glass of chambord...

I might have to print this thread. Lot's of new things to try.

Have a great night,
Lisa
