What's your favorite evergreen tree?

Hi,
We have a new, naked yard and we are in the process of making it pretty We planted some dogwoods this past weekend. Next up is the back of the lot. We need to plant some trees in the back corners of the lot for privacy. I really like the Norway spruces. I am also thinking about a magnolia to give a little bit of privacy on one side.

Just wondering what are your favorite evergreens are and why?

We have lots of Norway spruce
and love them

I like Blue Spruce, also Holly and Laurel's.

Both the holly and laurels have some great varieties.

We planted Blue Spruce and lilacss for privacy. It takes a few years but they really work. My favorite evergreens are Hemlocks though. They can be hard to grow here so I limited the planting to 3.
