We are doing Disney during the free dining promotion  :cool1: :cheer2:

We have already booked Ohana, Le Cellier, Whispering Canyon, and Crystal Palace (breakfast). We need one more table service meal. Can you help us by tellling what your favorite restaurant is and what I shouldn't miss on the menu?

Jiko is our favorite place to dine at WDW. The food and service our just outstanding. It is the one place we have to eat at on every trip.

The California Grill. Excellent food and service, and the best view in WDW.

I will NEVER eat at Le Cellier  again. It was the WORST food I have ever had at WDW. Great service; good atmosphere; the food SUCKED!

Try Chefs de France, instead
Another good one is Boma.

We love mexican foon so we love the restaurant in Mexico at WS (San Angel Inn I think). It's got a neat atmosphere right there next to the boat ride.

I think CA Grill has the best food on property (not including V&A's of course).

I'm a very traditional comfort-food type of eater. I usually don't like fancy, exotic foods, so I LOVE 50's Prime Time. They have food like I grew up on. The pot roast is absolutely out of this world. Best meal on WDW property for me. :thumbsup2

My favourite meals have been:

- the filet with mac n' cheese at Jiko
- sonoma goat cheese ravioli at the California Grill
- cheeseburger, onion rings and No Way Jose sundae at Beaches & Cream

Enjoy!

DH's favorite is Chefs de France, because "it is the spirit of Epcot." My favorite is Grand Floridian Cafe, because it has a great atmosphere, great scenery, great food, and great staff, and I love to walk around the GF!

California Grill. Fantastic food, exceptional service and a view that is unsurpassed by any other restaurant. A must do for us.

We are also doing the free dining and I have booked Le Cellier, Ohana, Coral Reef, Boma and 50's PT. Last yr I went for the free dining and booked CRT for breakfast, Beirgarten, Ohana, Le Cellier, Teppenyaki. I wont do Teppenyaki, or Beirgarten again and we were so dissapointed CRT is now 2 credits.. We really loved Ohana, the food, the atmosphere, of course I am just in Love with the Big Island of Hawaii.. My son loved Le Cellier and this is the second time I have booked Boma for breakfast, I hear it is really good I just didnt make it to my last ADR.

I would add California Grill to your ADRs. I have never had a bad meal there and love the Oak Fired Filet without the bbq sauce. Our service has always been exceptional, especially our server Jamie. He made our last trip so wonderful. Yes, it's noisy, but you can't beat the view or the food.

Tough question ... my favorite Disney restaurant no longer exists. :guilty:

But if you've got two TS credits to play with, here's another vote for California Grill. The setting and food combine to make it quite the event.

If you've got only one TS credit, and you're already doing Le Cellier (my fave in World Showcase), I'd have to say Boma. I see you've already booked a buffet and two all you can eat family-style restaurants, so another buffet may be overkill. (I've never met a buffet I didn't like!)

For a sit-down meal, Raglan Road has become a real favorite of ours, outside the parks and resorts. And sooner or later, we almost always end up at 50's Prime Time. It's an absolute hoot! Try the pot roast and the PB&J milkshake, the best on property, methinks.

Good luck!

For the boyfriend, nothing tops Le Cellier.

For me??

Chefs de France - hands down.

French Onion Soup - Filet - Creme Brulee <- 7:30 ressie for illuminations viewing. Perfection.

Our favorite on the property is Spoodles. The seafood stew there was tremendous. But if you hate spice, order something else. It's not all that spicy but it did have a bit of a kick. The NY strip with the add on scallops and shrimp were Yummy. The Rigitoni was great. The Garlic Shrimp appetizer and the Mediteranean dips were great too. The 4 cheese flatbread was great. I've had the fettucini there as well and it was good.

I like Boma for the food, the deserts alone are worth it. For atmosphere I like ESPN, the mexican restraunt at epcot, and the morrocon restraunt at epcot. 50's primetime has good atmosphere, but the food is just so so.

So far we have loved Dinner at Artist Point at WL, Dinner at Le Cellier at Epcot, and Breakfast at Kona Cafe at the Poly. We thought the food at all 3 places was yummy. :thumbsup2

I've never really had super great food at a TS restaurant in Disney, yet, but for atmosphere I really like Sci-Fi. It's a must do for us every trip. I think we've eaten there 5 times in 3 trips, LOL! The food isn't GREAT but it's not bad either. Just a fun unique experience which is what Disney is all about for me.
