I'm really surprised that no one has started this thread yet.....

What is your favorite Disney memory from 2010?? You only get to choose one...no cheating.

I know I should probably say "becoming a Disneyland Correspondent for the the DIS Unplugged", but that would be a little self-serving. :)

I think my favorite Disney memory was watching Richard Sherman unveil the Sherman Brothers window on Main Street at Disneyland, then sit down at the grand piano and play "Feed The Birds", one of Walt's favorite songs.

Standing in front of, and admiring, the fabulousness that is Michelangelo's David with 38 other ABD guests and our 2 equally fabulous Adventure Guides on the DCL Med cruise in May.

Sayhello

Taking 4 grandkids to the world and watching their delight in meeting the characters and taking their own pictures of Cinderella's castle. :grouphug:

Oh I hate when you can only pick one. :headache:

I think I'm going to have to go with meeting Kevin, John, Skip and some other DIS'ers at Earl of Sandwhich in DTD. Even taking into account the willy nilly hugging stuff, :rotfl: it's still my favorite memory. Hi guys!

It was between that and a truly fantastic Mulan we met in Epcot who remembered my nephew by name from two years ago. Pure Disney Magic. :goodvibes And he got another kiss.......

Sorry Tom.....Guess I cheated a little. :teeth:

Experiencing the Food & Wine Festival for the first time. Epcot is my favorite park, and I was lucky enough to spend a day there during a trip to Universal in October. :)

Just actually making it back there in September after 4 years absence!!!! Will probably be another 4 before we can afford it again!

For me, it was bringing our son to WDW in September to start the College Program! :goodvibes
He LOVED, loved, loved being a life guard at Blizzard Beach. Was very sad when he (and about 15 other CPers) had to relocate when Typhoon Lagoon closed (to allow TL full-timers to move to BB) and is "doing OK" at Pecos Bill's.
He extended, so his new role in January will be as a character attendant and he gets to stay until May.:cool1:

Knowing he is there, gaining experiences he will never forget, making friends and contacts he will have for life- and all in our happy place. That was the very best thing for us in 2010.

For me, most definitely the post cast cruise 2.0! What an amazing experience to be out at sea and constantly running into everyone on the cruise ship. I loved it, it felt like I was on vacation with a bunch of friends.. :thumbsup2

This is very hard, because I had a great trip to WDW in September. BUT I've gotta go with my first visit to DL, which happened almost a year ago at this point! The whole trip was magical, but one of my favorite moments was exploring the lobby of the DL Hotel and having Goofy randomly come up with me and pose for a picture! I love the characters and it was just such a spontaneous thing, which I'm not used to with the characters - I'll never forget it.

The Dreams Unlimited/ABD Backstage Magic 1.0 tour. From start to finish each and every day was filled with amazing Disney experiences. We are so fortunate to have shared this adventure with 42 other Dis friends.

What a cutie he is...and a good guy to boot.

That day was fun, and it just sort of fell into place

It was you and Connor, Skip, Liz and Eric (Dr. Doofenschmirtz ;)), Dave and Sally and John and I.

Great afternoon.:thumbsup2

My favorite Disney memory from 2010 was celebrating our son's 32nd birthday in October with his new bride (May 2010) at the Cali Grill. We had a table right by a window and got to watch Hallowishes during dessert. :goodvibes

My favorite Disney memory from 2010 was when I took my niece to WDW and she would alternate which aunt she went on rides with. she had 3 aunts there and on her own would say "I will ride this ride with Linda because I rode with Dawn on the last one, I'll ride with Mama (what she calls me) next." I thought that it was sweet of a 4 year old to make sure she treated us equally.:lovestruc BTW her parents were not there, just her and her 3 aunts!

In 2010, my best memory is the look on DGDs(5) face as she plunged down Splash Mountain for the very first time. Luckily we have a picture of it on the Ride Photo!!!!!! Precious and hilarious all at once!!

I had an amazing dinner at Garden Grill on Spring Break...

But the one I think I'll go with was the day I got to go around the Magic Kingdom with 4 little girls. I'm an only child and I've never gone with children before, but this day was so magical. Seeing their eyes light up when they met the princesses and all the giggles on the Mad Tea Party. It was so amazing to see the park new and full of magic through their eyes.

The Backstage Magic 2.0 trip with my DH and with Pete and Walter and so many wonderful new friends! (Does it violate the rules if I count Imagineering and Walt's Apartment as major highlights? ;) )
