What's your favorite DIS Unplugged rant of all time?

I just wanted to find out what everyone's favorite rant of all time is from the history of the show. I do have mine (and can listen to it over and over again and it just keeps getting better) but I'm going to let you talk amongst yourselves before letting mine go. Can be from Pete, John, Kevin or who ever (Yes, who ever means you too Teresa)

Pete has the best rants. I just like that he can rant and still makes perfect sense. I can't do that.

D23 rant stands out in my mind and just recently Harry Potter package.

He has had many good ones.

I also think they others make good point. Kevin has very brief sentences but not rants. My favorite is "It cost just as much to make good food as it does crap."

The rest of the crew doesn't rant but discusses the issue and each makes very valid points.

The first one I remember cheering along with...as well as thinking, "Well, duh, Pete - I could have told you!"

Pete was slamming the Contemporary for their very poor customer service. Back then, the rooms were a cacophony of colors (some of which clashed with others) and the people staffing the place were downright rude to guests.

Pete has since gone back and says it is better and so is the staff...but I have yet to return. Ugh.

I really hated the Contemporary and since nobody on the boards ever says they hate it, it was nice to have some company there.

Also enjoy it when Pete says he doesn't care for that horrid Cirque show. He and I are the only ones on that. I've even been called a troll for saying it sucked because "nobody else" thinks that.

My favorites are on the release of D23, and some of his comments about Harry Potter Island. I agree with kbelle8995 about Pete being able to rant and have it actually make sense. It's a skill I'm working on, but I doubt I'll ever be as good as him.

One of the things I think makes Pete's rants so good is his great vocabulary. He'll be in the middle of a rant and bust out some words that I've only heard/seen on my GRE test

I hate to say it, but the Orlando Magic e-mail response rant that was later retracted. While I respect why it was retracted, I was tempted to stand up and cheer in the middle of the airport.
Secondly, while I have liked my cirque experiences, I have uttered the "scary french clown" term on more than one occasion.

I really like Kevin's rant in response to the guy who sent him an email about one of his restaurant reviews and called him K.K. and one he did about the homogenization of Disney souvenirs and merchandise.

I also love Pete's rant about the stroller rental price increase and when he told everyone to boycott the Dining Plan because they raised the price during peak times. I thought both of those things were beyond ridiculous on Disney's part and loved Pete giving them heck for it.

It's hard to say...I love them all..but if I had to pick, it would be the rant(s) on the price increases...Pete has such a way of communicating how he feels, and I for one, admire his honesty....I'd rather hear the truth (even if it's not positive) than to have things sugar coated.

I absolutely loved the rant about the clueless wonders working at the Royal Pacific pool area.

Usually I just love the moment Pete veers off on the tangent and doesn't let go. Then he'll have a moment of, "Ok, I'm done venting, where were we?" I think that's always fun, no matter what the rant is.

It's not just rants I like, it's the whole heckling that goes on with John and Kevin, too. I recently appreciated Kevin's "Big Bang Theory" reference based on the line about "George Lucas disappointing me in the order which he chooses." Except Kevin tweaked it to the topic at hand.

I have to try very hard not to burst out laughing for fear my coworkers will think I need medical assistance or something.

My favorite is....

the D23 rant of course! It has to be the most epic rant in the history of the podcast. I've actually listen to that podcast in it's entirety about 5 times and Pete's rant alone about 12 times. His rant just encompasses all of my emotions regarding D23 and I'd love to have Pete do a D23 Rant Part II now that it's been almost a year and a half later.

I really enjoy them all. Mostly because I feel like I could chime in at any time. The DIS should really do a 'best rants' podcast. I'd also love to see some classic phrases that could be downloaded and used as ringtones. I can just hear it now...a certain someone calling my cell phone and hearing 'Mouth breathing, knuckle dragging Morons..'

And I cannot WAIT to hear what they have to say about the grand opening of Harry Potter. HEE HEE!! I can hardly contain myself!!

I love the "cleaning lady" rants -- oh, heck, I love them all! It's just so refreshing to hear anything that isn't sugary-sweet about the entire O-town entertainment arena -- and I do have to close my office door when I listen, because I laugh out loud way too often!

All his rants are good. He is always right on point, and when the Jersey accent comes out, you know he's getting REALLY FIRED UP!!!!

The good thing is that someone in the Disney organization is usually listening.

I dont mean this to sound creepy, but I love listening to anything Pete has to say, mostly due to the fact he is usually passionate and educated on the subject he is ranting on. I also agree my vocabulary has grown just listening to him as well as some of his phrases (screw up a two car funeral!!!!)

To be honest with this thread I didnt really know what to say so i fought I would post in a list of rants .

1. Kevin's Rant about Shutters at Carribean Beach Resort

2. Pete's Rant about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

3. Pete talking about the Anuanal Passes at Walt Disney World.

I dont really know any more... but these are a few rants that I enjoyed of the show.
