Just wondering what everyone's favorites are. We're looking to venture out and try a new CS restaurant. I'd love to hear people's thoughts on Columbia Harbour House because it's a place we have yet to try.

My family and I typically eat at Cosmic Ray's or Pecos Bill's. My kids love Cosmic Rays because they like the dinosaur show, and we like that there's plenty of options to satisfy everyone's picky taste. What I don't like is that it is so crowded and noisy. Interested in trying CHH, but not sure about it so I thought I'd turn to the experts here and see what your favs are.

CHH is one of the few CS that I actually remember trying at MK. It was our (hubby and I) first trip together to WDW and it was one of the last days that we were there. We had eaten mostly off-site since we were on a tight budget. I was coming down with a cold, so my appetite wasn't what it usually is. I had the tuna sandwich and I remember thinking it was one of the best tuna sandwiches I'd ever had.

We also took a tip from here and went upstairs to sit. It was so nice to be able to look out over the park and enjoy lunch. It was relaxing being out of the crowd, but nice to be able to see the park from the upstairs.

We love CHH. As already mentioned, grab a seat upstairs. It's usually not as crowded and depending on where you snag a seat, you can have a fairly decent view out the small windows.

We love the fish and the clam chowder! (The shrimp is fairly tasty too!) Have not been since they changed the menu though, so haven't gotten to try the lobster roll or salmon yet.

Mine is Columbia Harbour House. :thumbsup2

Dh likes Casey's.

We really enjoy the CHH too. The seafood is tasty and well prepared. We usually get 2 different entrees and share. Yum. Unfortunately I can't go upstairs to eat (wheelchair) so have had to forgo that pleasure, but have read several threads that describe how quiet (comparatively) it is, and the nice view that can be had.

Our other favourite eatery is Cosmic Rays. We like the wider selection of food choices. And even tho we're older adults, we love eating and listening to Sonny:thumbsup2

Pinocchio haus but the menu change and eliminating the bacon double cheeseburger kinda killed that one but we love Pecos Bills and although my wife has never tried CHH it has always been one of my perrenial favorites! I'll get her there soon enough!

Love Columbia Harbor House. :lovestruc

They have a veggie sandwich (Lighthouse sandwich) that is so yummy.

Nice light fare, so different from the typical burgers and pizza. Mmmmmmmm. Mouth is watering just thinking about it.

As for the times I DO want a burger, then I like Cosmic Ray's with the fixings bar.

Off Topic but Minnie Mum we did the Key to the Kingdom tour a few years ago. One of our group was using a wheelchair. Somewhere there is an elevator to the second floor, because they escorted her up separately to join in the group luchn.
Just an FYI if it helps you

Our favorite CS in the MK is CHH. I love the tuna sandwich and DH loves the clam chowder. We miss the chowder/half sandwich combo. This fall I tried the new Lobster Roll. It was very good - lots of lobster claw meat. But I misssed my tuna sandwich and next time that is what I will have.
In second place is Pecos Bills for a cheeseburger and the fixins bar.

CHH for us. We enjoy eating upstairs and watching the people walk under the bridge.

CHH is our fave too. We usually get the Tuna sandwich and the hummus one, then split them both to have half each if you see what I mean. We have also had the fish strips there which were quite good (take that as a compliment from someone who lives on the East Coast of England!)

As Hopefully mentioned, wheelchairs and eating upstairs is no problem. I went this past February and was in a wheelchair. We wanted to eat upstairs so I asked a CM. We were taken to an elevator in what I'm guessing is a staff area. It was no problem getting me (in the wheelchair) and my daughter upstairs. (And back down again.)

For me it would be Cosmic Ray's followed CLOSELY by Columbia Harbor House.

I just love rotisserie chicken and the platter is huge! My wife and I use 1 QS credit and split it.

My friends and I usually eat at CHH. They have a good variety and some of the better food at MK. If that is too busy, we will hit Pinnochio's. I know a lot of people dislike the WDW round pizzas, but I love them.

Thanks for everyone's input. It seems that CHH is a favorite of lots of people. I think we'll try it next time. Of course, we'll stick with the old fav of Cosmic Ray's too. :)
