I have only stayed at BWV in a boardwalk view room once. I had a one bedroom and it was unit 3001. At the time it was "preferred view" so getting a BW view room made me quite ecstatic
I personally didn't have any issues with where we were located...we had a BW view, that is the only thing I cared about

However, my husband complained about the lonnnnng walk to the elevators--and no he wasn't exagerating...we were the LAST room...we had the longest to walk

My best friend also was with us and she complained about the loud music from the clubs...we were right next to Jellyrolls and while we were three floors up, you could hear the music. However, the balcony doors shut out much of the noise. We were in the 'Crest of the Wave' building....our unit had two open railed balconies....which I have to admit I really enjoyed. The BCV balconies are more enclosed and I definitely prefer them open!!
Here are the pics of views from the unit I was in (I want to go back

)
Really bad pic...I didn't have my digi cam yet!
This was the building we were in...three floors up, the two balconies on the very right side
I have another picture that shows a pretty decent view but I'm in it and I don't want to post it
Hope this helps
