Our family of 4 will be heading back to WDW in January. My 2 boys (11 & 8) love buffets. Last year we ate at the Crystal Palace before MVMCP and the kids loved it. We also ate at the Garden Grill (Family Style). 3 years ago we ate at Donalds Breakfastosaurus.

We were thinking about Chef Mickeys for dinner or maybe back to Crystal Palace since it should be reopened.

Please give me your suggestion!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Thanks!

My two favorite buffets are not your usual American style of foods but would give the kids a chance to try new stuff though both have kids stuff available.
Restaurant Akershus in Norway at Epcot is really good and though they have alot of fish dishes, which I don't eat, there is alot of other things that I like and I always get full.
Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge has alot of new kinds of things as well as some regular stuff and a kids area.
Both are great.
You can go to WDWIG.com and go to the restaurant dining section where there are menues posted.

1900 Park Fare for breakfast and Biergarten for Dinner........

I would have to say either Cape May (BC) or 1900 park fare (GF) for breakfast. Boma (AKL) or Whispering Canyons (WL) for Dinner.

1900 Park Fare for breakfast and Chef Mickeys for dinner. But I can't wait to try Boma!

Boma is my favorite both for Breakfast and Dinner.

#1 - Boma at AKL

#2 - 'Ohana at Poly (this is sort of a buffet)

#3 - Biergarten at Germany EPCOT

Our two favorites are Chef Mickey and the Clam Bake at Cape May Cafe (BC)....can't wait to go back:D :D

1900 Park Faire for breakfast or dinner. Or, Biergarten for dinner.

However, I haven't been to Boma's breakfast buffet...yet;) :bounce:

With kids I have to say, for breakfast; breakfastsarus, and for lunch or dinner, Hollywood and vine. Lunch at H&V is character but dinner is not. Dinner is however part of the fantasmic package if you are interested in that.

#1 Boma
#2 Biergarten
#4 'Ohanas (although not actually a buffet, but is all you can eat)
#3 Crystal Palace

Biergarten for lunch.
Boma for dinner.

Hi,
Just returned from WDW and I have to say Cape May breakfast was one of our favorite buffets, but I'm not sure if it will be on our list of must PS in the future (we even stayed at BC during our trip and not so sure about that either). Even with a PS, there was at least a 30 minute wait to be seated, and they ran out of some food before we had a chance to eat. The wait staff was very understaffed and very worn out (obviously). The characters were great...as always, but you can see them elsewhere in a better, less expensive atmosphere...IMO!

Wow! We may just have to give Boma's a try. Do you recommend reservations or do they do PS?

Thanks for all of your replies!:teeth: :teeth: \
