We are stuck in a rut and I was wanting some input on other peoples favorites....We have to do Hoop-de-doo review, Liberty Tree Tavern, CRT and Hollywood & Vine. But it seems we always do the same old resturants. Since we are at AKL this time we are trying Boma and Jiko but what favorites do you have?? Maybe you can help me convince my DH to try something new!! (he hates Moracco by the way!) Thanks!

Our new favorite place for dinner is Palio at the Swan! It's Italian - very good food! The atmosphere is very nice - with strolling musicians! The prices are not too bad either - especially if you have a DC card, you'll get a 20% discount! I highly recommend it!

Our two favorites for breakfast are:

Spoodles - they have an All-You-Can-Eat Mediterranean breakfast that's served family-style at your table. The food is delicious!!

and

Kona Cafe at the Poly - the Tonga Toast and Eggs Benedict are wonderful, and the coffee is the best anywhere in WDW!

We like Mama Melrose at MGM for lunch, and Germany at Epcot for lunch.

le cellier is very good. also in world showcase, teppanyki in japan is great! we like artist point at WL and jiko at the AKL. at MK, the plaza restaurant is yummy. and the portions are large enough to share. how about hollywood brown derby at MGM? we had a wonderful lunch there in september. tusker house in AK is good for both breakfast and lunch. house of blues is good! i was really surprised when we ate there in septmeber. very good! have you checked the menus on deb's site?
http://www.wdwig.com/menu/menus.htm hope this helps! happy eating:p

A year ago September, we "discovered" the Kona Cafe. The food, service & atmosphere were all excellent for both, breakfast & dinner.
When DH & I had a night alone in WDW in July, we chose the Kona for our dinner(and breakfast too). After dinner we took a walk along the water to the wedding pavillion. It was beautiful and we only saw 1 other person for the whole walk, although we did hear "Alooooha" from the Luau. ;)

I haven't seen many posts about it....but we really enjoyed Bongo's in DD. Food is Cuban...atmosphere is great and so are the margaritas.:p :p :p :p

We tried two new restaurants on our most recent tip. One was Citrico's at the GF. The food and service were superb, the GF is spectacular, and it was a lovely, lovely dinner. It is pretty expensive, but we hope to go back again some day.

Our other new favorite is Olivia's, at OKW. It was quiet, the food was delicious, the restaurant was very pretty, and the service was also excellent. This is another place we will go to again.

(We also love Kona, Boma, Jiko, and California Grill.!!)

We loved 50's PT so much we had to go twice. Tonight, for my big 4-0, I made Mom's Super Sundae (my version of Dad's Super Sundae at 50's PT) I had all the ingredients except the blue, chocolate 100 yr. hat. It disappeared in record time as my kids swooped down upon it.

My favorite is Shula's in the Dolphin. Why? Simply the best steak I have ever had.

We also like O'hanas, Le Cellier and the Biergarten.

Our all time favorites are:

Artist Point
Spoodles
Flying Fish
San Angel Inn
Kona Cafe
Jiko
Ohana
Restaurant Marrakesh (which you already said your husband didn't like)

We love Mama Melrose's at MGM. We also really enjoyed the Yakitori place at the Japan pavillion in Epcot. We ate out in the garden and it was great - especially since we'd fled 20 degree weather in Colorado (last March). We didn't enjoy Coral Reef or Crystal Palace as much as we'd expected. We expected them to be a little more peaceful than they were.

Two restaurants that we tried in August on a whim were Germany and Norway, both of which we were extremely surprised! Definetly two of our favorites now (especially Norway).

However, my favorite WDW restaurant is The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. The food is good, but the atomosphere is extradoniary! I love the corny sci-fi movies / cartoons and the cars are pretty cool too. I believe they have a couple of "regular" tables too if you don't like the car tables (please correct me if I'm wrong).

My least favorites were Coral Reef and CBR's sit down restaurant (forget the name); however, CBR is changing their sit down, so you wouldn't have to worry about that.

Our favorites, LeCellier, Kona Cafe, Cape May and Boma! Please try the Kona Cafe for breakfest (tonga toast) It is a great place to stop while visiting MK.

Seems like there are several that keep coming up on this thread. Maybe you can do a tally.

My favorites:
Tapayaki Grill - a show in itself, fun, different
Le Cellier - good filet - could cut it with the fork
O'Hana - good food, different flavors, entertaining
Artists Point - Good food and view
Olivias - good food, nice atmosphere, friendly service
The Land - different, revolving room, plentiful food
Boma - different flavors, exotic atmosphere, Great desserts
