What's your dream vacation?

Although I often come back to Disney there are so many places I'd love to see.

• China - the Great Wall, the buried army and the palaces - such a vast and varied country
• India - especially Rajasthan (the muslim north) and maybe the south (for the food)
• Turkey - it just looks incredible
• Jordan - Petra has been on my wish list for years
• Syria - the ancient history just blows me away - read yesterday about the mosque in Damascus, its built around an early Christian church and on top of roman ruins
• Thailand - loved it - travelled from Bangkok north for two weeks about 15 years ago, and would love to see more including the south
• Malaysia - a real mix of modern cities and interesting culture and dare I say the food
• Laos - after visiting Cambodia, Laos really looks amazing! Very few tourists are going there yet so its relatively unspoilt
• Kenya/Tanzania (or similar) - to do a wildlife safari
• Mexico - again for the history
• Costa Rica -wow does that look beautiful!

There are probably loads more too!

Ones that exceeded expections were Viet Nam and Peru - would go back to either in a heartbeat as they were so totally not what I expected but in a good way - but want to do some of these others first

So I guess what I wish for is to win the lottery so I can afford to do all these without having to work and live to be about 500 so I have the time to see them all properly. Guess I should buy a ticket.

We are going on one for Christmas. Going to Tahiti, Morea, and Bora Bora. We've got one of those huts over the water booked.

We also went to Alaska for our honeymoon. That was wonderful.
