What's your dream vacation, Disney or otherwise? This is totally hypothetical and if money was absolutely no object in planning. :thumbsup2

I'll start. My dream vacation would be to Italy. I'd start by flying first class from the States to Rome, then renting a car (probably an Alfa Romeo convertible) and spending a few nights in the city to see the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, and a LOT of art. After that, I'd drive over to Naples just to see and experience the city, and spend one or two nights there. Then, I'd head to Sorrento and (yes, again) spend one or two nights there. Finally, I'd take a private yacht charter to the island of Capri and spend four or five nights basking in luxury in one of the celebrity-infested "see and be seen" resorts. At the end of my stay in Capri, I'd take the private yacht back to Sorrento, pick up my car, head back to Rome, and fly home. :cool1:

Even though this could become a reality sooner rather than later thanks to DVC, my dream vacation has always been Hawaii. I've always loved the culture and grounds. The water is just beautiful and there's so much to do while there. I'm hoping to visit the DVC property one day. It looks incredible! :thumbsup2

Aside from ABD Egypt, I think my dream trip would be something I've already lived.... an all expenses paid week at the Hotel Del Coronado. My uncle took 20 of us for my grandmother's 80th birthday. We also had a private tour of the San Diego Zoo, box seats for a Padres game, room service every morning, beers and lunch by the pool, and huge family dinners every night.

Of course, my favorite part of the trip was writing on the same beach that L. Frank Baum wrote the Oz books on!

Never drive in Rome.

They are CA - RAZY!:scared1:

A cruise around the world on the Queen Mary 2. It'd have to be in the Balmoral Suite of course - two levels with butler service. The QM2 is the only ship in the world with a kennel on board, so I could bring Kitty with me.

It may sound silly, but going to Orlando and visiting the theme parks is always a dream for us. We'll never take it for granted. We just love it too much.

Beyond Orlando...Hawaii, Italy, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Sea.

My dream vacation was to cycle Tuscany which I did in 2008. I was there two weeks total, one week was cycling Tuscany and the other was split between Venice, Florence, and Rome.

To either cycle Provance or mountain bike and kayak the fjords in Norway are now top of the list.

I'm 16, LOL. Bring it on I say!

I was looking at Google Streetview, and it looks like parking would be an issue. Do you know if they have parking garages at the hotels like there are here? :confused3

I dont have all that much experience with Rome...just a couple of days with ABD.

I dont think the hotels in the city center have garages. Maybe the more modern hotels on the outskirts, but not in the historic section.

We stayed at the Excelsior Hotel on the Via Veneto and parking would have been next to impossible.

It seemed that most people in Rome were driving the little Smart cars and going 300 miles per hour.

We were told the Smart cars were popular because 3 of them could park perpendicular to the curb in one parallel parking spot.

A transatlantic cruise to Europe, trip on the bullet train to France, then a week at Disneyland Paris and the Disney Studios Paris staying at the Disneyland Hotel. I might be talked into a side trip to Paris, but I figure I have been to Epcot and Las Vegas and seen those versions, so what's the point.

Thanks for the info Kevin! You're so lucky to have gone on the ABD trip to Italy! If you ever go again and plan on bringing an extra large piece of luggage and are willing to pay for overweight baggage, I'll totally come with! ;)

An uninhabited island that has one fridge that has a self-replenishing fridge/freezer, a microwave, an excellent sound system with every note ever recorded and all the clothes I could want. Also a button to press that brings transportation to a hospital or dentist.

Absolutely NOTHING that beeps. No phones, no email, no newspapers, - in fact, no paper at all - no way for anyone to contact me.

Not another soul on it. Two months to enjoy.

That'll do.

I honestly don't have a dream vacation. That just seems too final, like one time and that's it, you're done. I want to travel as much as I can, anywhere I can. The closest thing to a 'dream' trip that I've thought about is take a walking tour across Scotland.

My dream vacation is the ABD Backstage Disney tour. Preferably the one that everyone just did with the podcast, but that ship has sailed......so I would like to go 2-3 days before the tour starts, stay at the Candy Cane Inn, get to see a little of Disneyland before the tour starts. Then a limo to Hollywood for the start of the tour. 2-3 extra nights at The Grand Californian after the tour and then to San Francisco to see the Disney Family Museum. 4 nights in San Francisco, touring that part of California. I would also love to stay at the Del Cornado somewhere is this trip. I've dreamed of staying there since the first time I saw pictures of it when my aunt and uncle stayed there about 20 years ago.

I know this is gonna sound silly :P but im going to say it.

My Dream Vacation would to be able to have a free roam day at either Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios or Epcot of where I would be able to ride all the attractions being able to get a reservation easily and also to be able to shop.
Another Dream Vacation is to hire a harley davidson Motercycle and ride route 66 for the whole of the summer, visiting all different types of states and trying different food.

This is what my dream vacation would be :)

i go on my dream vacation every year......:cloud9:.......this year it just happens to be in september:) see below

My dream vacation would be a back to back trip to Disney World and Disney Land.Stay a night in the Haunted Mansion,Castle Suite,Space Mountain,Pirates and Walt's Apartment.Dinner at club 33.

I'm having mine in December. The cast? Myself, my daughter and grand daughter. Starting out with staying 2 nights at the Poly, going to MVMCP and then on a 4 day Disney Cruise...all just before Christmas.
