What's your Disney "guilty pleasure"

Okay, I don't know if they do this anymore, but when we were there 17 years ago, we stayed onsite, and when you turned the TV on in the morning it was on their WDW channel or whatever and it played "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Da" and periodically you got your "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Da, tip for the day!" offering some nugget of wisdom about making the most out of your day at WDW.
It was one of the things I missed first when we had to leave. No more happy WDW TV singing to me about what a wonderful day I was about to have! We still talk about how pumped up we'd get before even leaving the room in the morning because of that!

And Spaceship Earth. Just looking at it makes me all "Wow!" inside. LOL.

Well, I can't say I'm the least bit guilty, ok well maybe a little, regarding my newest love for Jungle Cruise.... A few months ago, we rode Jungle Cruise and we just did NOT get it.(Robo probably remembers! lol) Well, then we rode it at night, and expecting the puns, we enjoyed ourselves a bit more, and we changed up our expectations.

Meanwhile, the other week, I finally got to go hang at Trader Sams, and now I'm just HOOKED. I want to go there EVERY DAY!!! Its' like the Tiki Room, the Adventurer's Club and Jungle Cruise all had a baby! LOL. Except that I would go broke there! But even still, I get off my shift at 3 tomorrow and I'm thinking hmm...2 min walk, so tempting...think I'll go right at opening.

Its such a tiny place, I almost don't want to tell everyone about it who doesn't know about it, but I love it so much, I can't keep it to myself (plus I need you guys to order all the other interesting drinks so I can watch the room come alive for each drink's show!!!!)

I liked it so much, I went to Ross, bought a bunch of accessories, and was hanging pictures in my bathroom at 1am in the morning before my work shift the next morning of as much Trader Sams looking Polynesian/African Jungle Cruise/Nautical/Waaaay tacky over the top/ stuff as I could find, and now I'm obsessed! I'm going to decorate my upstairs bedroom/bathroom suite all Trader Sam's!!!! I brought home the souvenir glass and made it in to an awesome potpourri holder for my jacuzzi tub! (Definitely ask before you order tho! You may get serious sticker shock if you get the souvenir glass, make sure you really want it! LOL Thankfully we did!)

Anyway Jungle Cruise is now my guilty pleasure. Trader Sams is now my obsession. I need to pick up shifts just so I can go there! lol

Weather permitting I start every day on the bench next to Atlantic Dance with a cigar and a coffee, watching the sunrise. Only missed 3 mornings over 8 years due to temps, one cool March.

The Walt Disney World Railroad! I love, love, love riding that train. This year, my family has promised that we can ride it from Main St. to Main St. without getting off. I've ridden it all the way around in chunks, but never all the way around. They roll their eyes, but I don't care. There's something about it that just makes me smile.

Mine is a little sneaky. I do not like star tours, it makes me ill. So I send my family on and I go to the ice cream cart and get a mickey bar. I sit in the little pavilion with the chairs with umbrellas and enjoy. My family always feels bad that I don't ride star tours, and I'm like, "it's okay, you guys go." No sooner are they out of sight than I am heading to the ice cream cart! I told dh about it and he thought it was funny.

Call me evil if you must. But I like saving a table to eat at while the wife buys food at QS locations. I never thought about it util I saw how many people get mad at it, now I kinda enjoy doing it BECAUSE it gets people so mad.... though I almost never seem to eat when it is crowded, so it isn't as fun when there are 10 other tables open.

First thing I do when I get into MK (usually my first day visit) is jump aboard the train and ride it to frontier land.

The Tiki birds and a mickey bar it doesn't get any better than that. Plus just being there is a real treat, love all the food and rides it is magical!:cloud9:

I love all the classic attractions too but for me...

Funnel cake for breakfast, and as many Mickey Bars as I can handle day. Funnel cake & ice cream taste so much better in Disney!

Bringing Tinkerbell gifts for my kids for every day of the trip all the way from home and setting them out each night after the kids have gone to sleep. At home, I'm always the one setting limits and boundaries, telling my kids no and doing every possible thing I can so that they grow up to be respectful and not overly entitled. I buy reasonable, creative, educational and/or enriching gifts for Hanukkah, we buy them one or two reasonable gifts each for their birthdays, and I even set limits when it comes to WDW souvenirs and let them pick out "only" one each under a certain dollar amount. But I go bananas with the Tinkerbell gifts! I love being part of the creation of the magic.

I'm even ashamed to admit it on this post!

Have to do Mickey's Philharmagic first day of every trip...something about it starts vacation mode.

Boy, can I relate to "starts vacation mode". For me it's one or two rides on the carousel, with the music. One time when I rode, the music didn't play and it just didn't seem the same.

The People Mover! We make it a point never to miss it. As we ride we talk about the good, bad, and fun parts of the trip! It is just something so simple about that is magical.
