I know a lot of the questions on here are about crowds, but some people's high crowd level could be different than others. Personally I think of large crowds as major waits of over 60 minutes. 45-60 minute lines don't bother me. How about you?

Anything longer than 20 minutes is too much for me!!
I can remember walking onto Space Mountain in January one year. That was the best trip ever for waits - there weren't any! :cloud9:

We've been pretty spoiled by going to Disney either in Sept, Oct, or 1st week of Feb. so for me, crowded is 20+ minutes :guilty:

Waits of over a hour bother me when it's really hot and humid. I don't mind waiting if it's nice weather but if it's summer in FL, I'll skip the parks.

When I have to wait for the next bus at the resort because the first bus fills up and leaves while I am in line.

I go at the very most crowded times, so I consider a wait time of under 45 minutes to be "short". Of course ... I never wait in a 45 minute line! Not even during Christmas week. I get to the parks early and churn Fast Passes as soon as I can.

We are lucky that we have been able to go drunign slwer times. This will be stopping soon as oldest DD is now in first grade. I will not wait longer than 15 minutes. Unless it is something that my girls really want to do.

We usually won't enter anything that we guage to be more than 15 minutes. We are pretty good at knowing when the machines are flat-out-wrong. We even told the CM at one attraction, and he said that the counter was broken. Yeah right-If it was really broken, don't you think they would have some kind of sign or notice? The thing where they ask a guest to bring up the lanyard and have the CM at the front of the line call back is not always accurate.

HI ~

I voted 45-60 minutes. For us that is too long to wait for every ride. Maybe one or two per day. We waited over an hour to ride Soarin once.

I don't like to wait for anything over a 30 minute wait. I think that was our longest line this summer (7/28/06-8/13/06). That was for Pirates of the Caribbean and Indy Cars.

We do pretty well with planning what park to visit prior to going. We don't usually have long waits. With Fast Passes and the attractions that don't typically have long waits, we find it's not necessary to wait in long lines. Plus, we are there for two weeks so if the lines too long we try again later that day or during one of the days on our visit.

Our family rule is no waits more than 30 minutes. We will come back later if possible but if the sign says more than 30 minutes we go right on by.

We don't mind waiting on line for more than 60 minutes just as long as the line is moving. A few years ago, we went to Universal IOA, we waited for 2 hrs+ for Spider Man ride (thunder struck the park's transformer) We stayed b/c it made no sense to go anywhere else. :tougue:
We were @WDW last week. Sometime the standby time can be very deceiving too. It said 40 min. "standby time" only if you are actually standing at the entrance not moving at all. We zipped thru in 15 min.

Hi,
We feel it depends on what time of year. Now that we travel to WDW during Jan, Sept mainly we won't get in line if the posted wait it more than 20mins. There is usually no need to wait at all as we just circle back and usually do a walk on. The only places we see long posted waits is for the kiddy rides in the MK and Space Mountain in the MK and those are now all take them or leave them stuff for us so it does not impact us.

If we traveled to WDW during peak time then we would expect posted wait times of 45 to a hour and then try to use fastpass to the best of our ability.

1) 15-20 minutes is my max wait time.
2) My definitin of crowded is
. . . light - walk onto the rides
. . . medium - 15 or 20 minute wait time
. . . heavy - 45 or 60 minute wait time
. . . absurd - over 60 minute wait time
. . . ouch - shoulder to shoulder

Back when we first started going, we went in July and waited 2 hours for Splash. Never again! Now 45-60 minutes.

I voted 45-60 minutes also. We went last year for Halloween week. Most standby lines were 30-45 and seemed to move faster than that. That did not seem too bad. Much more would have seemed crowded.

I hate waiting and will not wait more than 15-20 minutes for any ride.

But I don't define "crowded" by wait times. To me, crowded is when you can't easily cross a street, but have to wait and weave. Also, lines for the restroom. :)

I agree. There are certain places at certain times of day, like Main Street in the morning, that are just always going to be packed. We try to stay away from these areas at these times, because we don't want to deal with all the people. We like it to be easy to cross the street and not have lines for restrooms or shops either. Even in a "slow" season, you can get large groups at the same place. For example, after illuminations, there was literaly a sea of people rushing for the exit, made worse by the fact that FW is not well lit at night. This was in off season. It's good to know what to stay away from when.
