What's your definition of "breezy"?

I just check our weather forecast and they said tomorrow would be "breezy". 20something degrees; piles of snow on the ground; bitterly cold winds. Not "breezy" in my version of Webster's!

Breezy should be on a beach somewhere, not as a description of a winter snow day. Breezy should have something tropical associated with it; not parkas and gloves.

I think the meteorologists are just trying to soften the blow. After weeks and weeks of this stuff, their Thesaurus is worn out.

It also makes me think of Breezy Carol.

Had to post here. Breezy makes me think of a gentle wind, not particularly warm or cold, but certainly doesn't describe a blizzard.

BTW....I think breezy is a strange word to use when it's freezing cold.
